How is the extra sales requirement calculated?Discount profit
The tool divides original contribution per unit by discounted contribution per unit. Subtracting one gives the proportional volume increase. It multiplies the baseline units by that ratio and rounds the target upward to a whole unit.
Discount profit · Business ↗Why does a 20% discount reduce contribution by 50% in the example?Discount profit
The discount removes 20 from a price of 100, while the cost stays at 60. Original contribution is only 40, so losing 20 removes half of it. The effect depends on your starting price and cost.
Discount profit · Business ↗Does contribution mean net profit?Discount profit
No. The result is selling price less the variable cost entered. Rent, fixed salaries, interest, income taxes and other overhead still need funding. Preserving total contribution preserves that funding pool under the model assumptions.
Discount profit · Business ↗What happens if the discounted price equals unit cost?Discount profit
Contribution becomes zero. No finite volume of those sales can recreate a positive original contribution. If the discounted price is below cost, each extra sale adds a loss, so there is no recovery target.
Discount profit · Business ↗Can I use this for a service?Discount profit
Yes, if you can define a comparable unit, such as one session, and its variable delivery cost. Keep the original volume in those same units. The model does not account for scarce working hours or changing staffing costs.
Discount profit · Business ↗How should I handle percentage payment fees?Discount profit
Fees tied to the selling price usually change after a discount, but this tool holds entered unit cost fixed. Estimate costs consistently for a simplified comparison, or use the contribution margin calculator to calculate each price scenario with a separate fee percentage.
Discount profit · Business ↗Why is the unit target rounded up?Discount profit
A fractional unit cannot usually be sold. Rounding down could leave contribution below the baseline. The percentage uplift remains a continuous comparison, while the table provides the smallest whole-unit target under the entered assumptions.
Discount profit · Business ↗What should I check before launching the discount?Discount profit
Compare required extra units with past promotion results, available stock and fulfillment capacity. Add any new advertising or temporary staffing costs to a separate promotion budget. Repeat the calculation for a less aggressive discount if the target looks unrealistic.
Discount profit · Business ↗What does a ROAS of 2.50× mean?Break-even ROAS
It means 2.50 of revenue for every 1.00 of advertising spend. It is a revenue-to-ad-spend ratio, not a profit percentage. Your costs determine whether that ratio is sufficient for a particular sale.
Break-even ROAS · Business ↗How does this calculator find break-even ROAS?Break-even ROAS
It subtracts product cost, net shipping, percentage fees and the expected return allowance from the selling price. It divides price by the remaining positive contribution, which is the maximum modeled advertising spend at break-even.
Break-even ROAS · Business ↗How is target ROAS different from break-even ROAS?Break-even ROAS
Target ROAS also reserves your desired margin as a percentage of revenue. That reduces the available ad budget and generally increases the required ratio. A zero desired margin makes target ROAS equal break-even ROAS when contribution is positive.
Break-even ROAS · Business ↗Is the desired profit margin net profit?Break-even ROAS
The chosen margin remains after the entered costs and ads. It excludes fixed overhead, income tax, interest and anything else you leave out. It should be treated as a modeled retained margin rather than a complete company profit estimate.
Break-even ROAS · Business ↗Where do fixed transaction fees go?Break-even ROAS
The Fees field accepts only a percentage of selling price. Include a flat per-sale fee in another entered cost allowance, with a note in your own records, and make sure it is not also counted in the percentage.
Break-even ROAS · Business ↗Why does the result say paid ads are not achievable?Break-even ROAS
A zero or negative contribution cannot fund positive ad spend. A desired margin can also exhaust an otherwise positive contribution. Reduce costs, adjust price or choose a feasible retained margin before assigning a campaign budget.
Break-even ROAS · Business ↗Can repeat purchases justify a lower first-order target?Break-even ROAS
Possibly, but this calculator measures one sale and does not include customer lifetime value or repeat orders. Evaluate retention, later contribution and cash timing separately before accepting a first-order loss or a long recovery period.
Break-even ROAS · Business ↗Should I set the platform bid target to this exact number?Break-even ROAS
Use the result as an economic reference, then reconcile platform revenue with actual collected revenue and costs. Campaign volatility, attribution and unmodeled overhead may require additional headroom. The calculator does not predict performance or prescribe a bidding strategy.
Break-even ROAS · Business ↗How is the required bundle price calculated?Bundle pricing
The tool adds quantity times unit cost for every row, then divides that cost by one minus the target margin as a decimal. It rounds the result upward to two decimal places to avoid pricing below the target.
Bundle pricing · Business ↗What happens if I leave the proposed price blank?Bundle pricing
The calculated target-margin price becomes the bundle selling price used for the profit and savings comparison. Entering zero is different from leaving the field blank: zero tests a free bundle, whose percentage margin is undefined.
Bundle pricing · Business ↗Can the same product appear more than once?Bundle pricing
Yes, each row contributes to the totals. You can instead combine identical units into one row with a larger quantity. Make sure repeated rows describe intentional bundle contents rather than duplicate entries.
Bundle pricing · Business ↗Why are customer savings negative?Bundle pricing
The bundle price is above the total standalone price for the entered quantities. That is a premium rather than a monetary saving. Extra services or packaging might justify a premium, but the calculator does not assign value to them.
Bundle pricing · Business ↗What if my margin target is 100%?Bundle pricing
A positive product cost cannot be covered while retaining 100% of selling revenue as gross profit. The calculator therefore requires a target below 100%. If cost is zero, percentage margin still requires a positive selling price.
Bundle pricing · Business ↗How do I include packaging or shipping?Bundle pricing
Fixed costs attributable to each included unit can be incorporated consistently into unit_cost. Order-level costs and revenue-based fees need separate consideration; the contribution margin calculator can help evaluate the resulting bundle as one sale.
Bundle pricing · Business ↗How should product names containing commas be entered?Bundle pricing
Wrap the full product name in double quotes so its comma stays inside one CSV cell. Keep the four header columns in the documented order. The calculator supports up to 1,000 product rows and rejects missing quantities or negative prices.
Bundle pricing · Business ↗Does this tell me the best bundle to sell?Bundle pricing
It evaluates a bundle you specify, not customer demand or product affinity. Compare candidate prices with customer research, stock availability and actual sales. A margin-compliant price can still be unattractive, and a strong saving can still be uneconomic.
Bundle pricing · Business ↗What formula determines the free-shipping threshold?Free shipping threshold
Shipping plus fixed fulfillment plus desired contribution is divided by the merchandise margin fraction. With a 40% margin, each 1 of merchandise revenue supplies 0.40 toward those amounts. The displayed threshold is rounded upward to a 0.01 increment.
Free shipping threshold · Business ↗Is this an optimal marketing threshold?Free shipping threshold
No. It is the minimum modeled basket for the chosen economics. Customer response, competitor offers and conversion changes are not inputs. You can use the floor to design an experiment, then evaluate actual order contribution and conversion.
Free shipping threshold · Business ↗What should the merchandise margin include?Free shipping threshold
It should reflect selling revenue after discounts less merchandise cost, divided by that revenue. Do not use a markup percentage. Keep taxes passed through out of the revenue basis and avoid including shipping again if you enter it separately.
Free shipping threshold · Business ↗Can I use different thresholds for different countries?Free shipping threshold
Run the calculator separately with each relevant shipping cost and margin assumption. The tool models one set of costs at a time and does not automatically configure shipping zones or determine eligibility in your store.
Free shipping threshold · Business ↗Why must the margin be above zero?Free shipping threshold
With no merchandise margin, additional basket revenue contributes nothing toward shipping or a positive retained amount. Dividing by a zero margin cannot produce a useful threshold, so the tool asks for a positive percentage.
Free shipping threshold · Business ↗Does the average-basket gap predict an AOV increase?Free shipping threshold
No. It is simply the difference between the entered average basket and the calculated threshold, with a minimum of zero. Customers may add items, pay shipping or abandon their carts; the calculation does not predict which response occurs.
Free shipping threshold · Business ↗Are payment fees and returns included?Free shipping threshold
There are no separate fields for them. Account for omitted costs consistently in your assumptions or evaluate the order separately using contribution and return-cost tools. Do not assume the displayed contribution is net profit after all business expenses.
Free shipping threshold · Business ↗What should I do with a threshold like 62.50?Free shipping threshold
Compare it with your intended customer-facing cutoff, such as a higher round amount, then check that amount’s economics. Also confirm the currency’s pricing increments and actual store rules for discounts, taxes, eligible products and destinations before launching.
Free shipping threshold · Business ↗How does the hourly rate formula work?Freelance rate
Billable hours equal working weeks times weekly hours times utilization. Annual billing equals business expenses plus take-home income divided by one minus the reserve percentage. Dividing required billing by billable hours produces the hourly floor.
Freelance rate · Business ↗What does billable utilization mean?Freelance rate
It is the percentage of total working time clients pay for. At 40 weekly hours and 50% utilization, 20 hours are billable. The other hours can still be necessary for proposals, administration, learning or project coordination.
Freelance rate · Business ↗Is the reserve a tax calculation?Freelance rate
No. It is your budgeting assumption applied to income after business expenses. The tool does not apply progressive rates, deductions, social contributions or local tax rules. Enter a reserve appropriate to your own planning rather than treating the example as a recommended rate.
Freelance rate · Business ↗Why is the monthly target divided by 12?Freelance rate
It spreads the annual billing goal across calendar months, including time-off months. The working-week target instead divides by your entered working weeks. These figures answer different planning questions and need not match a particular month’s actual invoices.
Freelance rate · Business ↗Is the working-day target a day rate?Freelance rate
It is a billing goal spread over working days, not a quote for an exclusive day of client service. It depends on utilization and total weekly hours. Define the actual scope and paid hours separately if you sell a day-rate package.
Freelance rate · Business ↗Can I leave the reserve blank?Freelance rate
Yes. Blank or zero reserves no additional amount. Expenses are still added to the income goal. A 100% reserve is invalid because no positive take-home amount can remain after reserving all modeled profit.
Freelance rate · Business ↗How should I include platform fees?Freelance rate
Fixed anticipated costs can go in Annual business expenses. A revenue percentage fee changes as billing changes, and the tool has no separate field for that relationship. Check the calculated rate against fee-adjusted revenue separately without counting the same expense twice.
Freelance rate · Business ↗What if the calculated rate is above my market rate?Freelance rate
Test changes to expenses, utilization, income goal or service scope, while keeping the assumptions realistic. The calculator cannot create demand or justify a price by itself. Use the funding floor to understand the tradeoff before accepting lower-priced work.
Freelance rate · Business ↗What is included in landed cost here?Landed cost
The model adds supplier goods cost, freight, insurance, the duty amount and other fees you enter. It cannot detect omitted expenses. Add relevant costs consistently and avoid including the same freight or handling charge both in unit cost and extras.
Landed cost · Business ↗How does value allocation work?Landed cost
Each product line receives the share of extras matching its goods value divided by total goods value. A line representing 30% of supplier goods value receives 30% of every entered extra. More expensive goods therefore receive more cost per unit.
Landed cost · Business ↗How does quantity allocation differ?Landed cost
It assigns the same extra cost to every unit regardless of price. Line share equals its unit count divided by total units. This may suit similar items, but physical size, weight or special handling can make either available basis inappropriate.
Landed cost · Business ↗Can different fees use different allocation methods?Landed cost
No. The chosen method applies to freight, insurance, duty and other fees together. If your shipment needs weight-based freight and product-specific duties, allocate those externally rather than assuming this simplified breakdown represents the actual cost pattern.
Landed cost · Business ↗Does the calculator determine customs valuation or tax?Landed cost
No. It accepts amounts already obtained and distributes them. It does not choose tariff classifications, determine customs value, look up rates or judge tax recoverability. Use the appropriate primary customs guidance for those separate decisions.
Landed cost · Business ↗Why do displayed product totals differ slightly from the shipment total?Landed cost
Line amounts display two decimals and per-unit costs four decimals. The calculation retains more precision internally, so independently adding rounded display rows can produce a small difference. Keep that rounding distinction in mind when importing the export.
Landed cost · Business ↗Can I enter samples with zero supplier cost?Landed cost
Yes, with a positive whole-number quantity. If the whole shipment has zero goods value but positive extras, value allocation has no denominator; choose quantity. In a mixed shipment, a zero-value line receives no extras under value allocation.
Landed cost · Business ↗What format should my CSV use?Landed cost
Use the exact three-column header and plain numeric quantities and costs without currency symbols or thousands separators. Quote names containing commas. The tool supports up to 1,000 product rows and rejects fractional quantities, negative costs and malformed rows.
Landed cost · Business ↗When is a physical return cheaper?Returns & refunds
It is cheaper when expected net resale recovery exceeds the return shipping and handling costs. Because the refund is identical in both scenarios, it cancels from the difference. Equal recovery and collection costs create a tie.
Returns & refunds · Business ↗Why do original product and outbound costs not change the winner?Returns & refunds
Those amounts have already been incurred and are common to both choices. They affect the contextual outlay shown in the table, but they cannot change the future cost difference between collecting and not collecting the item.
Returns & refunds · Business ↗What exactly is net recovered resale value?Returns & refunds
It is expected resale proceeds after additional selling costs, adjusted for whether the item can be resold and its condition. It is not automatically the original selling price or supplier cost. Use a conservative expectation based on comparable returned stock.
Returns & refunds · Business ↗What does the per-original-order allowance mean?Returns & refunds
It multiplies the lower modeled incremental event cost by the entered return/refund rate. A cost of 50 at a 10% event rate creates a 5 allowance across original orders. It is a reduction from a retained sale, not total order profit.
Returns & refunds · Business ↗Can an incremental cost be negative?Returns & refunds
Yes, if entered expected recovery exceeds the refund plus future collection costs. That indicates a modeled net recovery relative to the retained-sale comparison. Check the recovery assumption carefully; it does not establish the complete profit on the original transaction.
Returns & refunds · Business ↗What if customers receive different refund amounts?Returns & refunds
This calculator assumes the same refund for both choices. A partial refund or store-credit alternative would require a different model. Do not compare those policies here by altering one common refund field and assuming it represents two different payments.
Returns & refunds · Business ↗Where do return-only fees go?Returns & refunds
Relevant inspection, disposal, restocking or other collection-only expenses can be included in handling. Fees applying to both choices are not separate inputs. Keep the basis clear and avoid including expenses already deducted from your recovery estimate.
Returns & refunds · Business ↗How should I apply the result?Returns & refunds
Use it for a defined item category, expected condition and destination rather than every refund. Compare low and high recovery scenarios, then review actual return outcomes. The calculator evaluates entered costs and does not decide refund eligibility or enforce a policy.
Returns & refunds · Business ↗What is a blended break-even unit?Multi-product break-even
It is one unit of the modeled sales stream at the entered unit proportions. It is not one of every product and need not be a physical bundle. The weighted contribution expresses the average contribution of that sales mix.
Multi-product break-even · Business ↗How is weighted contribution calculated?Multi-product break-even
For each product, price minus variable cost gives contribution. That amount is multiplied by its share of total unit mix, and the weighted amounts are added. Positive fixed costs are then divided by this positive blended contribution.
Multi-product break-even · Business ↗Must the mix total exactly 100%?Multi-product break-even
It must total 100%, allowing a rounding difference of 0.01 percentage points. Accepted small differences are normalized so weights sum to one. A substantially incomplete or excessive mix is rejected rather than silently treated as a valid forecast.
Multi-product break-even · Business ↗Can a product have negative contribution?Multi-product break-even
Yes. Its negative amount reduces the weighted average. Positive fixed costs can still be covered if the overall weighted contribution is positive. If the blend is zero or negative, the tool reports that break-even is not achievable at that mix.
Multi-product break-even · Business ↗Why can break-even quantities be fractional?Multi-product break-even
The tool solves a continuous equation for the assumed mix. That can produce fractions even if every actual sale must be whole. Build an attainable sales plan around the estimate and calculate its actual contribution before using it operationally.
Multi-product break-even · Business ↗Which costs belong in variable_cost?Multi-product break-even
Include the sale-dependent costs of one unit, such as product cost, variable packing, shipping you pay and transaction fees. There is no separate fee field here. Keep fixed period costs in the fixed-cost field to avoid counting them twice.
Multi-product break-even · Business ↗Does break-even revenue describe cash needed?Multi-product break-even
It describes modeled sales revenue at the threshold, not cash-flow timing. Stock purchases, unpaid invoices, borrowing and payment schedules are outside the calculation. Use a cash-runway model separately if liquidity is the decision you are making.
Multi-product break-even · Business ↗What happens when fixed costs are zero?Multi-product break-even
The tool shows zero sales as covering zero fixed costs. That does not make every product profitable: a negative blended contribution still means additional sales generate a modeled loss. Read the contribution result and explanatory note alongside the zero threshold.
Multi-product break-even · Business ↗How is contribution per unit calculated?Contribution margin
The tool subtracts variable cost and the price-based payment fee from selling price. It then multiplies that contribution by entered units to obtain total contribution. The fee is price times the entered percentage divided by 100.
Contribution margin · Business ↗What does the contribution margin ratio mean?Contribution margin
It is unit contribution divided by unit price, expressed as a percentage. In the example, 55% means 55 of each 100 of revenue is available toward fixed costs and modeled operating profit after the entered variable costs.
Contribution margin · Business ↗Is contribution the same as gross profit?Contribution margin
They can differ because this model deducts all entered variable selling and delivery costs, while gross profit is typically based on cost of goods sold. Compare figures only when their cost definitions match; do not assume the labels are interchangeable.
Contribution margin · Business ↗How are break-even units rounded?Contribution margin
Fixed costs divided by positive unit contribution gives an exact threshold, which the tool rounds upward to whole units. Rounding downward can leave costs uncovered. The result assumes each unit has the same price and variable costs.
Contribution margin · Business ↗What happens if contribution is zero or negative?Contribution margin
Additional units cannot cover positive fixed costs at zero contribution, and negative-contribution units increase the loss. The tool shows no positive contribution instead of inventing a useful break-even target. Raise price or reduce variable costs to change that relationship.
Contribution margin · Business ↗Can I enter zero units sold?Contribution margin
Yes. Revenue and total contribution become zero, while modeled operating profit is negative by the fixed costs entered. The break-even target is still calculated from unit economics when contribution is positive, regardless of the current sales count.
Contribution margin · Business ↗Does modeled operating profit mean net profit?Contribution margin
It is total contribution less entered fixed costs, before interest and income taxes. Any omitted expenses also remain outside the result. Use it as a scenario measure with a documented cost basis rather than a substitute for financial statements.
Contribution margin · Business ↗How do I handle multiple products?Contribution margin
Run each product separately for a unit-economics comparison, or use the multi-product break-even calculator with an expected unit-sales mix. Combining unlike units into one average without consistent weights can obscure which products are generating the contribution.
Contribution margin · Business ↗Do milestone percentages include the deposit?Project payments
No. The deposit percentage applies to the total project fee. Milestone percentages apply only to the balance remaining after that deposit. The milestones must collectively account for 100% of that balance rather than adding up with the deposit percentage.
Project payments · Business ↗How does the calculator prevent rounding gaps?Project payments
It rounds the deposit to the nearest cent, allocates each milestone’s share of the remaining cents, and distributes leftover cents to the largest fractional remainders. Input order breaks ties. This keeps total scheduled payments equal to the project fee.
Project payments · Business ↗Can I use a zero deposit?Project payments
Yes. All of the fee then becomes the balance divided by milestones. You still need at least one milestone, and the milestone percentages must total exactly 100%. The tool does not prescribe a suitable deposit for your business.
Project payments · Business ↗Can I request the entire fee upfront?Project payments
A 100% deposit leaves a zero balance, so you can leave the milestone list empty. The result is a fully allocated upfront payment plan. Whether that arrangement suits the project or client must be decided separately.
Project payments · Business ↗Can I enter percentages with decimals?Project payments
Yes, up to six decimal places. Their sum must still be exactly 100%, such as 33.333333, 33.333333 and 33.333334. A zero-percent milestone is rejected. The fee itself accepts no more than two decimal places. Fee and deposit input text are each limited to 64 characters.
Project payments · Business ↗What should the milestone CSV look like?Project payments
Enter one label and percentage per line, separated by a comma. An optional Milestone,Percent header is accepted. Quote labels containing commas so they remain one cell. Up to 100 milestones are supported, each with a nonempty label. The complete CSV input is limited to 100,000 characters; remove unnecessary rows or use a smaller planning schedule if it exceeds that limit.
Project payments · Business ↗Are taxes and transaction fees calculated?Project payments
No. The entered fee is simply allocated across payments. There are no separate tax, processing-fee or interest inputs. Establish the intended fee basis and any additional charges in your proposal and invoicing process before using the schedule.
Project payments · Business ↗Does the CSV act as an invoice or contract?Project payments
It is a planning export with payment amounts, cumulative amounts and unpaid balances. It does not issue invoices, set due dates, collect funds or create contractual terms. Use it as supporting arithmetic for the payment process you already manage.
Project payments · Business ↗What do source, medium and campaign mean?Bulk UTM builder
Source names the referrer, medium describes the channel, and campaign identifies the promotion. For example, a partner newsletter could use source=partner-name, medium=email and campaign=autumn-launch. This builder requires all three rather than generating partly labeled links.
Bulk UTM builder · Marketing ↗When should I use the content field?Bulk UTM builder
Use content to distinguish creatives or placements that otherwise share the same campaign details. Hero-button and footer-link are useful examples. Keep that naming consistent so a later comparison reflects placement differences rather than inconsistent labels.
Bulk UTM builder · Marketing ↗What happens to UTM tags already in my URL?Bulk UTM builder
Recognized lowercase campaign parameters are removed before the five supported tags are added. That includes existing campaign IDs and source-platform tags, which this builder does not regenerate. Unrecognized or differently capitalized parameters remain, so review unusually formatted URLs.
Bulk UTM builder · Marketing ↗Are spaces and special characters supported?Bulk UTM builder
Yes. Values are encoded as URL query parameters, so ampersands, spaces and punctuation do not become accidental extra parameters. When pasting CSV, commas inside a value still require CSV quoting. URL encoding and CSV quoting solve different problems.
Bulk UTM builder · Marketing ↗Why was a row skipped?Bulk UTM builder
Check its required values, destination scheme and column count. A row with a missing medium, a relative URL, embedded credentials or unquoted comma can fail. The result identifies the CSV row and reason; fix it in your source before rerunning.
Bulk UTM builder · Marketing ↗Does this connect to Google Analytics?Bulk UTM builder
No. It produces tagged links locally and does not configure analytics, visit destinations or verify attribution. Your website and analytics implementation must collect the visit. Test one published link and inspect your own reporting before using a large batch.
Bulk UTM builder · Marketing ↗Can I choose another campaign naming style?Bulk UTM builder
The available choices are preserved text, lowercase, and lowercase with hyphens replacing spaces. These are conveniences rather than a complete taxonomy validator. Prepare underscores, platform-specific conventions or approved channel names in your CSV when your reporting policy requires them.
Bulk UTM builder · Marketing ↗How are repeated destinations detected?Bulk UTM builder
The comparison removes recognized campaign tags and sorts query parameters, while retaining the fragment. It therefore flags two links to the same destination even when their creative tags differ. It does not resolve redirects or identify equivalent pages with different URLs.
Bulk UTM builder · Marketing ↗What chapter rules does this validator check?YouTube chapters
It checks that the first entry starts at zero, that there are at least three chapters, and that timestamps are unique and ascending. Known chapter lengths must be at least 10 seconds. It also requires a nonempty title after each timestamp.
YouTube chapters · Creators ↗Why is the video duration optional?YouTube chapters
Most chapter lengths can be calculated from consecutive starts. Only the final chapter requires the ending time. Leaving duration blank gives a useful partial check, but the final length is explicitly shown as unknown rather than silently treated as valid.
YouTube chapters · Creators ↗Can I use timestamps for videos longer than an hour?YouTube chapters
Yes. Use h:mm:ss, such as 1:02:15. The tool also accepts minute-based values such as 60:00 and normalizes them into hour format. Seconds must stay within 00–59, and the minute component in hour format must also stay within that range.
YouTube chapters · Creators ↗Are exactly 10-second chapters accepted?YouTube chapters
Yes. Ten seconds is the accepted boundary. A start at 00:00 followed by 00:10 gives a 10-second segment. For the final chapter, the entered duration must similarly leave at least 10 seconds after its start.
YouTube chapters · Creators ↗Can I paste bullets or a whole video description?YouTube chapters
Paste the chapter list rather than unrelated description paragraphs. Each nonempty line must begin with a timestamp and contain a title. An optional dash between timestamp and title is removed, but ordinary bullet prefixes or nonchapter text are not parsed as chapters.
YouTube chapters · Creators ↗Does this create timestamps automatically?YouTube chapters
No. You choose the segment boundaries by reviewing your video or transcript. The tool validates those choices and formats the text. It does not fetch videos, identify topics from audio or check that each timestamp matches what the viewer sees.
YouTube chapters · Creators ↗Why do chapters sometimes fail to appear after a passed check?YouTube chapters
The pasted text is only one part of the process. Chapter availability can depend on YouTube’s feature access and content rules. Review the official chapter guidance, your account’s feature access and the saved description if the player does not show the expected chapters.
YouTube chapters · Creators ↗How should I fix duplicate or descending timestamps?YouTube chapters
Review the actual video sequence and move or edit the affected entries. Automatically sorting them could hide a mistaken boundary or mismatched title, so the tool reports the problem instead. Rerun the check once the list reflects the true recording order.
YouTube chapters · Creators ↗Which Search Console files are accepted?Search Console insights
Use the English comma-separated Queries.csv or Pages.csv table from Search results, with Clicks, Impressions, CTR and Position columns. Analyze one grouping and date range at a time. The tool does not combine queries with pages or parse comparison exports.
Search Console insights · Marketing ↗How are rows prioritized?Search Console insights
The score is impressions multiplied by one minus the reported CTR fraction. This approximates visible but unclicked impressions. Larger values appear first, with additional tie-breaking rules. It is a transparent heuristic rather than a measure of ranking difficulty or likely gains.
Search Console insights · Marketing ↗How is the combined CTR calculated?Search Console insights
It divides the sum of matching rows’ clicks by their summed impressions. It does not average individual percentages, which would give a small row the same weight as a large one. The figure describes the matching export rows, not the whole property.
Search Console insights · Marketing ↗What does the target CTR scenario mean?Search Console insights
For each matching row, modeled extra clicks are the greater of zero and impressions multiplied by your target CTR minus current clicks. Impressions are held constant. A 5% target on 2,000 impressions with 60 clicks models 40 extra clicks, without predicting they will occur.
Search Console insights · Marketing ↗Should I choose a standard 5% target?Search Console insights
No single target fits every query or result layout. The default filter is a starting point for investigation. Choose a target using comparable performance in your own data, then label the output as a scenario rather than an expected outcome.
Search Console insights · Marketing ↗Why do some rows disappear from the result?Search Console insights
Rows must meet every filter, and zero-impression rows are excluded. Check the impression threshold, both position boundaries and CTR ceiling. If nothing matches, widen the range or lower the threshold; do not assume the absence of matches means there are no opportunities.
Search Console insights · Marketing ↗Can I identify a query’s landing page from this export?Search Console insights
A query-only table does not contain its page relationships. Likewise, a page-only export does not identify its queries. Filter the relevant row in Search Console and inspect the other dimension there. This tool never invents query–page pairs.
Search Console insights · Marketing ↗What should I do after downloading the list?Search Console insights
Investigate a small group of high-priority rows, record the issue and proposed change, and compare later performance using suitable dates and context. Review page usefulness and intent as well as the snippet. The list helps organize that work; it does not replace diagnosis.
Search Console insights · Marketing ↗Which delimiters can I convert?CSV repair
Comma, semicolon, tab and pipe are supported for both input and output. Automatic detection tries those options and evaluates the resulting structure. If the result is ambiguous or the preview is wrong, select the known input delimiter explicitly.
CSV repair · Utilities ↗What happens to commas inside quoted cells?CSV repair
They stay inside the same field when the quoting is valid. The output quotes every field and doubles internal quotation marks. A description such as Blue, dotted therefore remains a single value in a comma-separated file.
CSV repair · Utilities ↗Can the tool recover an unclosed quotation mark?CSV repair
No. Broken quoting can make record boundaries uncertain, so the converter reports an error instead of guessing. Select the explicit input delimiter to see a precise parsing error, then correct the source quoting and rerun the conversion.
CSV repair · Utilities ↗Does it remove blank records or trim spaces?CSV repair
No. Blank records, empty fields and surrounding whitespace are preserved. The converter changes record separators and output quoting, not the meaning or cleanliness of the data. Use a separate cleaning workflow when those content changes are intentional.
CSV repair · Utilities ↗What does an inconsistent-record warning mean?CSV repair
A record contains a different number of fields from the first record. This may indicate a missing value, an unquoted separator or an intentionally variable structure. The download preserves that width; the preview marks missing fields rather than inserting them into the export.
CSV repair · Utilities ↗When should I add a UTF-8 BOM?CSV repair
A BOM can help some spreadsheet applications recognize UTF-8 characters. Choose it when your receiving application expects that signal. It does not repair already corrupted characters or convert an unknown original encoding; review accented and non-Latin text after importing.
CSV repair · Utilities ↗Does formula protection make every spreadsheet import safe?CSV repair
No. Prefixing suspicious values is a precaution whose behavior depends on the spreadsheet and import settings. It also affects negative numbers. Review the source, enable the option only when changed text is acceptable, and avoid opening untrusted exports without considering their content.
CSV repair · Utilities ↗Are multiline cells and large exports supported?CSV repair
Valid quoted multiline cells are supported and their internal line endings are retained. Input is limited to one million characters, 10,000 records and 200 columns per record. The preview is intentionally smaller than the download, so use the file for the full result.
CSV repair · Utilities ↗What is the difference between overlap and union?Compare lists
Overlap contains unique items present in both lists. Union contains every unique item seen in either list. Only in A and Only in B complete the membership comparison. All four groups use the same case and whitespace settings.
Compare lists · Utilities ↗How are duplicate entries handled?Compare lists
Duplicates are collapsed in each exported set, but their occurrence counts remain in the table. If an identifier appears five times in A and once in B, it is still one shared item. This helps distinguish duplicate-cleaning work from missing-item work.
Compare lists · Utilities ↗Does case-insensitive matching remove accents?Compare lists
No. It uses Unicode lowercase conversion only. Café and cafe remain different, and alternate Unicode compositions are not normalized. Standardize the input separately when your comparison requires accent removal or a particular Unicode normalization form.
Compare lists · Utilities ↗What happens when trimming is disabled?Compare lists
Surrounding spaces remain part of the item, so " x " and "x" can differ. Completely empty lines are ignored, but a whitespace-only line can be an item in this mode. Choose trimming based on whether spacing is meaningful in your source.
Compare lists · Utilities ↗Why is the result spelling taken from List A?Compare lists
The tool scans A before B and retains the first encountered spelling for each matched item. The match may ignore case, but the output label does not become lowercase automatically. This preserves readable source text while applying your comparison rule.
Compare lists · Utilities ↗Can I compare URLs or email addresses?Compare lists
Yes, as plain text items. The tool does not normalize URL redirects, percent encoding, trailing slashes or email aliases. For email-specific cleaning, use the email cleaner first and review its rules. Choose case settings carefully for the kind of identifier involved.
Compare lists · Utilities ↗Can one of the lists be empty?Compare lists
Yes. If A is empty, every unique item in B appears under Only in B and Union. The reverse works too. Both lists cannot be empty, because there would be no comparison to perform. Empty lines alone do not supply items when trimming is on.
Compare lists · Utilities ↗How large can the lists be?Compare lists
Together they can contain up to 200,000 characters and 10,000 nonempty lines. For larger datasets, compare batches with a consistent matching policy or use a dedicated data workflow. Splitting batches can hide duplicates spanning batches, so review the combined result.
Compare lists · Utilities ↗Does this verify whether an email address exists?Email list cleaner
No. It performs local syntax cleaning and duplicate comparison. It does not query DNS or MX records, open SMTP connections, send mail or inspect bounces. Mailbox existence, ownership and willingness to receive your message remain unknown.
Email list cleaner · Email ↗Why is local-part case preserved by default?Email list cleaner
The part before @ can have system-specific case behavior. The conservative default avoids merging Ada and ada automatically, while domains always ignore case. Choose whole-address case-insensitive comparison only when you understand and accept that additional merging.
Email list cleaner · Email ↗Can I paste display names with addresses?Email list cleaner
Yes, supported entries such as Ada <Ada@example.com> are extracted into an address. A name containing commas can be quoted, as in "Doe, Jane" <jane@example.org>. Newlines always separate entries; complex comments and quoted local parts need manual review.
Email list cleaner · Email ↗Will Gmail dots or plus aliases be removed?Email list cleaner
No. Dots and plus tags in the local part are retained. Provider-specific mailbox equivalence is beyond this cleaner, and the same transformation could change meaning on another domain. Normalize aliases only with a deliberate policy appropriate to the relevant provider.
Email list cleaner · Email ↗Which address formats are flagged?Email list cleaner
The supported subset uses common ASCII dot-atom local parts and dotted domains. Unicode addresses, quoted local parts, comments, domain literals and single-label domains are flagged for review. A flag can indicate unsupported syntax as well as a genuine mistake.
Email list cleaner · Email ↗What is in the audit download?Email list cleaner
The CSV includes each nonempty entry’s original text, cleaned address, status and explanation. Duplicate rows refer to the first matching entry. Keep the audit when you need to explain an import change or investigate why a contact was omitted.
Email list cleaner · Email ↗Can this process my full contact CSV?Email list cleaner
It does not map multiple CSV columns. Extract the email-address column into a newline-separated list first. Pasting names, IDs and other columns can produce misleading entries. You can use the CSV converter to inspect a file’s structure before preparing the address list.
Email list cleaner · Email ↗Is a clean list ready to send a campaign?Email list cleaner
Syntax cleaning is only one preparation step. Check your own subscription permission, suppression lists, unsubscribe state and source accuracy before importing. The tool supports up to 10,000 entries and keeps an audit, but it cannot decide who should receive your campaign.
Email list cleaner · Email ↗What is a DMARC aggregate report?DMARC report reader
It is a receiver-generated XML summary of observed messages and authentication evaluation. It groups multiple messages into records with counts, source IPs, domains and dispositions. This reader accepts aggregate XML, not forensic messages, inbox contents or a live DNS report.
DMARC report reader · Email ↗How is the pass percentage calculated?DMARC report reader
The tool sums message counts where either evaluated aligned DKIM or aligned SPF is pass, then divides by all reported messages. A record with 500 messages carries more weight than one with five. It does not average percentages across records.
DMARC report reader · Email ↗Must both DKIM and SPF pass for DMARC?DMARC report reader
For this report summary, either reported aligned mechanism passing is sufficient. The example’s 30 messages with DKIM pass and SPF fail therefore count as DMARC passes. Read the evaluated alignment fields rather than substituting raw authentication results from another report section.
DMARC report reader · Email ↗Why do quarantine totals differ from failure totals?DMARC report reader
Disposition is the receiving service’s reported handling decision, while failure describes alignment evaluation. Policy and receiver overrides can make those counts differ. Do not infer that every failure was rejected or that a nonrejected message passed alignment.
DMARC report reader · Email ↗Can I upload compressed report attachments?DMARC report reader
No. Extract ZIP or GZIP files first and select their plain XML contents. The browser reader accepts up to 20 files, five megabytes total and 20,000 records across the submission. It does not decompress archives or fetch reports from a mailbox.
DMARC report reader · Email ↗Does the total represent all email I sent?DMARC report reader
No. It represents the selected reports’ receivers and reporting intervals. Other receivers may not report, and the selected files may omit time periods. It is also not a delivered-message or inbox-placement count. Label any exported totals with their actual coverage.
DMARC report reader · Email ↗What happens when reports have many senders?DMARC report reader
The visible table shows up to 500 IP/From combinations, ordered by reported message volume. The sender CSV and record CSV retain the full supported submission. Download the files when investigating lower-volume combinations that do not appear in the preview.
DMARC report reader · Email ↗What should I do with an unfamiliar failing source?DMARC report reader
Check its From domain, report period and counts, then compare with your known services and recent changes. An unfamiliar source is an investigation lead, not an automatic threat label. This reader provides no provider attribution, signature verification or independent classification.
DMARC report reader · Email ↗Where can I find the original headers?Email header analyzer
Use your email service’s original-message or full-header option. In Gmail, the message menu includes Show original. Copy the headers rather than a screenshot or the ordinary From/To display, because routing and authentication fields are usually hidden in that simpler view.
Email header analyzer · Email ↗Does an SPF pass here prove the sender is genuine?Email header analyzer
No. The tool extracts a reported result from supplied text and does not run SPF. A result also needs domain and trust context. Compare the authenticated domain with other message fields and confirm the report was added by your trusted receiving service.
Email header analyzer · Email ↗Does this verify DKIM signatures?Email header analyzer
No. It can display reported DKIM results and signature-related context, but it does not fetch keys or cryptographically verify the message. A fresh signature check requires the original signed content and an appropriate verification workflow, beyond reading pasted headers.
Email header analyzer · Email ↗Why is a hop timestamp unknown?Email header analyzer
The supported parser expects a four-digit year and numeric timezone offset. Named zones, an unknown -0000 timezone, invalid dates and leap-second values remain unknown. Retaining that uncertainty is more useful than assigning a made-up UTC time.
Email header analyzer · Email ↗How are timezone differences handled?Email header analyzer
Supported numeric offsets are converted to UTC before adjacent intervals are calculated. A 13:00 timestamp at +0100 can precede a 12:00:05 timestamp at +0000 by five seconds. Clock errors can still affect the reported timeline even when the arithmetic is valid.
Email header analyzer · Email ↗Why can From and Return-Path differ?Email header analyzer
They are different message fields and may legitimately contain different addresses. The analyzer shows both without declaring the difference fraudulent. Use authentication alignment and your sending-service configuration to interpret them; the parser itself cannot verify who controls either address.
Email header analyzer · Email ↗Can it detect spam, phishing or inbox placement?Email header analyzer
No. It performs no spam scoring, geolocation, URL inspection or content-safety classification. Header structure and reported results can support an investigation, but they do not establish that a message is safe or explain every delivery decision.
Email header analyzer · Email ↗Is header data sent to an external service?Email header analyzer
This analyzer processes the pasted text locally and makes no DNS or network requests. Headers may still contain private addresses and infrastructure details, so consider those details before sharing a copied result or downloading it into a shared workspace.
Email header analyzer · Email ↗How does compression reach the target file size?Image compressor
The tool encodes trial images and measures their actual bytes. It searches quality settings and reduces dimensions if minimum quality is still too large. The search approximates the highest fitting setting; it does not mathematically guarantee the best possible image for that budget.
Image compressor · Utilities ↗Does 100 KB mean 100,000 bytes?Image compressor
Here, 100 KB means 102,400 bytes because the tool uses 1 KB = 1,024 bytes. Some upload forms use a different convention. Compare the output’s actual byte count with the receiving service’s limit and leave room when its definition is unclear.
Image compressor · Utilities ↗Which formats can I upload and download?Image compressor
You can upload JPEG, PNG or WebP within the input limits. Output is JPEG or WebP. PNG can be used as a source, but this tool does not export lossless PNG or animated image sequences. Choose a format supported by your destination.
Image compressor · Utilities ↗Will the tool change my image’s aspect ratio?Image compressor
It retains the source aspect ratio while applying the maximum dimension and any further size reduction. It never enlarges the source. A maximum of 1,200 pixels therefore means the larger side is at most 1,200, not that both sides become 1,200.
Image compressor · Utilities ↗Why do results differ between browsers?Image compressor
The browser provides the image encoder, and its output can differ with browser implementation and version. Quality settings are encoder controls rather than standardized visual grades. Use the reported bytes and inspect the actual downloaded image instead of comparing percentages alone.
Image compressor · Utilities ↗Can compression improve an already blurry image?Image compressor
No. It reduces size and may remove additional detail; it cannot recover missing resolution. Start with a suitable original and keep a backup. If the target is too restrictive for the needed quality, change the crop, dimensions or upload requirement where possible.
Image compressor · Utilities ↗Are my uploaded images sent to a server?Image compressor
The compression workflow runs locally in your browser and does not upload the source image. The generated sample also uses local processing. Downloading produces a local output file, which you can then choose to upload elsewhere yourself.
Image compressor · Utilities ↗Why is a large image rejected before compression?Image compressor
The input limits protect browser memory and processing time. A small compressed source file can still decode into a huge pixel buffer. Use an image editor to reduce oversized dimensions first if the source exceeds 16 million pixels or 8,192 pixels on one side.
Image compressor · Utilities ↗How does the tester choose a crawler group?Robots.txt tester
It selects the longest matching supported crawler product token and merges equally specific groups. The wildcard group is used only if no specific group matches. Enter a token such as Googlebot-News rather than an arbitrary full user-agent header for a meaningful test.
Robots.txt tester · Marketing ↗Which rule wins when Allow and Disallow both match?Robots.txt tester
Longer matching normalized rules take precedence. When specificity is equal, Allow wins. The result names the winning rule and line so you can examine that interaction instead of treating the file as a simple first-match list.
Robots.txt tester · Marketing ↗What do the asterisk and dollar sign mean?Robots.txt tester
An asterisk matches a sequence of characters. A final dollar sign anchors the match to the end of the compared path plus query. Consequently, /*.pdf$ can block /report.pdf while allowing /report.pdf?download=1 under the supplied rules.
Robots.txt tester · Marketing ↗Why is a URL outside the robots.txt scope?Robots.txt tester
The optional robots URL defines a protocol, host and port scope. A rule file for https://example.com does not automatically govern http://example.com or another subdomain. The tester marks those differences so you do not apply one site’s rules to another origin.
Robots.txt tester · Marketing ↗Does the Sitemap directive allow crawling?Robots.txt tester
No. Sitemap entries are informational in this tester and do not override matching crawl rules. The tool displays them but does not fetch the sitemap. Test the sitemap’s listed page URLs against the relevant rules when checking a proposed change.
Robots.txt tester · Marketing ↗Does Allowed mean Google will index the page?Robots.txt tester
No. It means the pasted rules permit that request under this interpretation. Server responses, access restrictions, canonicalization, content and other indexing signals are outside the test. It neither crawls the page nor checks Search Console indexing status.
Robots.txt tester · Marketing ↗Are percent-encoded and non-ASCII paths supported?Robots.txt tester
The tester normalizes percent escapes, decodes unreserved escaped characters and encodes raw non-ASCII text. Encoded reserved separators remain distinct. URL parsing can also normalize dot segments. Review edge cases against the actual crawler and server rather than assuming all spellings are equivalent.
Robots.txt tester · Marketing ↗Can I use this to check Bing or every crawler?Robots.txt tester
You can enter other crawler tokens, but the matching behavior is a practical Google-style model. Other crawlers may handle directives differently. It does not simulate fetching errors, redirects, caching or every undocumented recovery rule; use the relevant crawler’s documentation for final review.
Robots.txt tester · Marketing ↗What does the ten-term budget represent?SPF checker
SPF limits DNS-causing mechanisms and modifiers during evaluation. This tool estimates the supported terms contributing to that budget. It is not a simple count of network requests: cached repeated includes still count on repeated visits, and literal IP mechanisms do not consume this term budget.
SPF checker · Email ↗Why is paste mode an incomplete estimate?SPF checker
The pasted policy can reference include or redirect domains whose contents are unknown locally. Paste mode deliberately makes no DNS requests. It shows the terms present in your text and explains the missing nested expansion rather than treating unseen policies as zero-cost.
SPF checker · Email ↗What does live mode look up?SPF checker
It reads public TXT values for the entered domain and literal include or redirect destinations, with caching. It does not query A, AAAA, MX or PTR address data. Therefore, address-expansion and void-lookup limits are outside this inspection even when traversal completes.
SPF checker · Email ↗Does a total above ten prove all my email fails?SPF checker
No. The static estimate sums branches that a particular sender might not traverse before a match. An excessive estimate is a risk signal to investigate, not proof every message follows that path. A real evaluation needs sender identity and mechanism execution.
SPF checker · Email ↗What happens to mechanisms after all?SPF checker
Terms after an all mechanism are ignored because evaluation reaches that unconditional match first. A redirect modifier in a policy containing all is also ignored by this inspector. The treatment column helps distinguish present text from terms that affect its estimate.
SPF checker · Email ↗Are SPF macros and cycles expanded?SPF checker
Macros are not expanded. A macro-containing destination or an include cycle makes the estimate incomplete. Live traversal also has caps for requests, elapsed time, depth and visits. The tool does not substitute guessed domains or silently treat unfinished branches as safe.
SPF checker · Email ↗Can I combine multiple SPF TXT records?SPF checker
The live inspector stops when it encounters multiple SPF records rather than merging them into an invented policy. Review the DNS configuration with your provider. One domain’s TXT set can contain unrelated records, but multiple SPF policies require correction rather than arithmetic combination.
SPF checker · Email ↗Does this diagnose deliverability or DMARC alignment?SPF checker
No. It inspects a policy and budget estimate without evaluating a message. SPF authorization, From-domain alignment, DKIM signatures and inbox placement are separate questions. Use email headers and aggregate reports alongside an appropriate message-authentication workflow when investigating actual mail.
SPF checker · Email ↗What do none, quarantine and reject mean?DMARC checker
They express requested handling for messages that fail DMARC. None is useful for monitoring, while quarantine and reject request more restrictive treatment. Receiver behavior is not guaranteed, and this generator does not decide which policy is appropriate for your domain’s legitimate senders.
DMARC checker · Email ↗What is DMARC alignment?DMARC checker
Alignment connects an authenticated SPF or DKIM domain with the visible From domain. Passing a mechanism for some other domain is not enough by itself. This tool explains and configures alignment tags but does not evaluate a message’s actual authentication or domain relationship.
DMARC checker · Email ↗What is the difference between relaxed and strict alignment?DMARC checker
The draft offers r for relaxed and s for strict for both mechanisms. Strict alignment requires a closer domain match; relaxed alignment permits the applicable organizational-domain relationship. Verify how your actual providers sign and send before changing these settings.
DMARC checker · Email ↗Why does the tool warn about the percentage tag?DMARC checker
The percentage field writes legacy RFC 7489 compatibility text. Current RFC 9989 removes pct, and receivers using newer behavior can ignore it. The warning prevents interpreting a generated percentage as a dependable partial-enforcement guarantee.
DMARC checker · Email ↗Does entering a report email make reports arrive?DMARC checker
No. The generator writes a mailto reporting URI but does not verify the mailbox, recipient configuration or external reporting authorization. Confirm those requirements with your reporting service and DNS configuration. Successful syntax checks do not establish that reporting is operational.
DMARC checker · Email ↗Where should the record be published?DMARC checker
The tool displays _dmarc followed by your domain as the full hostname. DNS control panels may instead expect _dmarc within that domain’s zone. Follow your provider’s field conventions and avoid accidentally appending the domain twice. This tool makes no DNS changes.
DMARC checker · Email ↗Does live lookup check parent-domain inheritance?DMARC checker
No. It queries the exact _dmarc hostname for the entered sending domain. It does not perform the complete policy-discovery process. Investigate applicable parent-domain policy separately when evaluating a subdomain rather than interpreting no exact record as no effective policy.
DMARC checker · Email ↗What does Passed basic checks establish?DMARC checker
It means the supported common-tag checks found no basic problem in that value. It does not prove complete RFC conformance, report authorization, SPF/DKIM readiness or delivery. Review the diagnostics and use aggregate reports and actual-message tests before treating the domain as configured correctly.
DMARC checker · Email ↗What is a DKIM selector?DKIM checker
It is the label used with the signing domain to locate a key, producing selector._domainkey.domain. It lets a sender use distinct keys or rotate them. Obtain it from the message’s s= signature value or your provider, because this tool does not discover selectors.
DKIM checker · Email ↗How do I choose the sending domain?DKIM checker
For a message investigation, use the DKIM-Signature d= value associated with the selector you are checking. For setup, use the provider’s instructed signing domain. Do not enter a URL, path or email address; internationalized domains should use punycode here.
DKIM checker · Email ↗Does Passed basic checks verify the signature?DKIM checker
No. It checks the record’s supported common tags and base64 encoding. It does not reconstruct signed message content, verify its signature or prove domain ownership. A real message-verification workflow is required to establish whether a particular DKIM signature passes.
DKIM checker · Email ↗What does an empty p tag mean?DKIM checker
An empty p value marks a revoked key. The tool reports Revoked and explains that it cannot validate new signatures. Do not replace it with an arbitrary sample key; consult the sending provider’s rotation or recovery procedure for the correct current key.
DKIM checker · Email ↗Are RSA and Ed25519 records supported?DKIM checker
Both are recognized. RSA is the default when k is omitted, but ASN.1 structure and modulus strength are not checked. Ed25519 public-key data is checked for a 32-byte decoded value. Encoding validity alone does not verify an actual signature for either type.
DKIM checker · Email ↗Can I paste a record split into quoted strings?DKIM checker
Yes. Quoted DNS TXT chunks are joined into one value, and whitespace inside public-key data is accepted. Paste the full value without PEM headers. Distinguish a control panel’s chunk display from separate TXT records returned for the same selector.
DKIM checker · Email ↗Why does live lookup return no record?DKIM checker
Check the selector spelling, signing domain, DNS publication and provider instructions. The tool queries that exact hostname only. It does not try alternate selectors or decide which selector your mail service should use; a lookup failure is not evidence that all DKIM on the domain is absent.
DKIM checker · Email ↗Does finding a DKIM key guarantee inbox delivery?DKIM checker
No. The key record is only part of message authentication. Signing configuration, content integrity, alignment and receiver decisions remain separate. Live data can also be cached, and network failures are inconclusive. Use actual-message evidence when diagnosing sending behavior.
DKIM checker · Email ↗What is preheader or preview text?Subject & preheader
It is the short message excerpt shown near a subject in some inbox layouts. It can add context to the subject, such as an offer detail or next action. This tool reviews the text you intend to use; your email builder must implement it correctly.
Subject & preheader · Email ↗Are the presets actual Gmail or Outlook limits?Subject & preheader
No. Mobile uses illustrative budgets of 18 sender, 35 subject and 50 preheader characters; desktop uses 25, 60 and 100. Real visibility depends on client, font, viewport and layout. The presets help editing rather than certify client-specific rendering.
Subject & preheader · Email ↗Can I use my own character limits?Subject & preheader
Yes. Enter whole-number overrides from 1 to 500 for any field, leaving other overrides blank to retain the preset. Use a deliberate editorial constraint from your own testing. An override is still a text budget rather than a prediction of inbox pixels.
Subject & preheader · Email ↗How are combined emoji counted?Subject & preheader
Where Intl.Segmenter is available, visible grapheme clusters are counted separately from Unicode code points. A family emoji or accented letter may therefore count as one visible cluster despite several code points. Browsers without that support use code points and show a limitation note.
Subject & preheader · Email ↗Do spaces and line breaks count?Subject & preheader
The preview collapses whitespace sequences into single spaces and trims the ends before counting. Tabs and line breaks trigger review notes because the approximation displays them as spaces. The count describes normalized preview text, not the original raw input’s length.
Subject & preheader · Email ↗Why is an ellipsis shown beyond the chosen budget?Subject & preheader
The ellipsis is a display marker indicating truncation. It is outside the content budget, so it does not reduce the number of retained content characters. Actual clients can use different truncation and wrapping behavior, which this approximation does not simulate.
Subject & preheader · Email ↗What happens if I leave the preheader blank?Subject & preheader
The tool flags the empty field. An email client may pull text from the beginning of the body instead, depending on the final message implementation. Set intentional preview text in your sending platform and test it to avoid an unhelpful body excerpt.
Subject & preheader · Email ↗Will this predict open rates or detect spam wording?Subject & preheader
No. It checks text structure, budgets and repetition, without sending an email or assessing deliverability. Use actual audience testing and your own reporting to compare message performance. A short subject can still be unclear, while a longer one can still communicate effectively.
Subject & preheader · Email ↗Which fields are required?Email signature
Full name is required; role, company, email, phone and website are optional. Omit fields you do not want in every message. The result only includes the supplied details, so you can produce a compact name-and-role signature or one with several contact routes.
Email signature · Email ↗What does Copy results copy?Email signature
It copies the generated HTML source, not a rich-text selection. Use that code only in an editor that accepts HTML source. For a normal formatted signature editor, download and open the HTML file, select its displayed content, and copy that instead.
Email signature · Email ↗How do I install the plain-text version?Email signature
Download the text file or copy the reviewed contact text into an email client’s plain-text signature field. Plain text is useful where formatted HTML is unsupported or undesirable. It does not reproduce the HTML accent color, tables or styled contact presentation.
Email signature · Email ↗Does this signature include images or tracking?Email signature
No. It uses text, tables, inline styles and standard Arial-family fonts. There are no logos, remote assets or tracking pixels in the generated signature. This keeps the output simple, though it does not prevent an email service from modifying the surrounding message.
Email signature · Email ↗Can I add a logo or custom HTML?Email signature
This builder intentionally provides the listed text fields and three accent choices. It does not accept logo uploads or arbitrary HTML. Entered markup is escaped as text. If you later customize the downloaded HTML, test the modified version carefully in your email clients.
Email signature · Email ↗What website and phone formats are supported?Email signature
Use a complete http:// or https:// website URL without embedded credentials. The phone field supports a practical numeric contact format, with a country code recommended for international recipients. Extensions are not supported, and the tool does not test whether a phone number is reachable.
Email signature · Email ↗Will the signature look identical in all email clients?Email signature
No. Tables and inline styles provide a practical starting point, but clients can alter pasted HTML, fonts, spacing and colors. Dark mode can also change appearance. Check a sent test message on the desktop and mobile clients important to your audience.
Email signature · Email ↗Can the builder prove my contact details are correct?Email signature
No. Supported syntax checks do not establish mailbox existence, phone ownership or website availability. Click the installed links and review the information yourself. Updating the generated file also does not automatically replace a signature already saved in your email client.
Email signature · Email ↗How is cash runway calculated?Cash runway
Monthly net burn equals cash expenses minus cash revenue. When that amount is positive, runway is available cash divided by net burn. A reserve of 120,000 and burn of 10,000 therefore lasts 12 months under the constant-rate assumptions.
Cash runway · Business ↗What is the difference between gross and net burn?Cash runway
Here the entered monthly expenses represent cash outflow, while net burn subtracts monthly collections from that outflow. The runway calculation uses net burn. Do not divide the reserve by expenses alone if collections are intended to support the same forecast.
Cash runway · Business ↗Why does the tool say no depletion at this rate?Cash runway
Monthly revenue equals or exceeds expenses, so the constant-rate model keeps cash flat or increasing. This is conditional on those inputs continuing. It does not rule out timing shortages, future losses or a one-off payment that the model does not include.
Cash runway · Business ↗Does the projection horizon limit the runway?Cash runway
No. The horizon controls the number of monthly rows, with a maximum of 120. The reserve-divided-by-burn calculation can show a runway longer than the table. A short table should not be interpreted as the full funding plan.
Cash runway · Business ↗Why do rows continue after cash reaches zero?Cash runway
They show the theoretical financing deficit if operations continued at the same rate. The calculation does not authorize spending unavailable funds or assume a lender will provide them. Use negative rows to quantify the gap requiring a changed plan or additional cash.
Cash runway · Business ↗Can the result show a fraction of a month?Cash runway
Yes. The calculation assumes cash flows occur evenly through each month. A 125,000 reserve with 10,000 burn gives 12.5 months. Actual payroll and customer-payment dates can make the practical cash shortage occur earlier or later.
Cash runway · Business ↗What happens with zero starting cash?Cash runway
A positive burn gives zero runway. If net flow is nonnegative, the tool still warns that there is no starting buffer. Receipts arriving after a payment deadline can create an immediate shortfall even when monthly totals appear sufficient.
Cash runway · Business ↗How do I model growth or a new hire?Cash runway
This calculator holds monthly revenue and expenses constant. Compare separate scenarios for a quick sensitivity check, or use the hiring runway calculator for a salary starting in a future month. A detailed dated cash forecast is needed for changing collections, expenses or financing.
Cash runway · Business ↗How is CAC payback calculated?CAC payback
Monthly revenue per customer is multiplied by the margin fraction to produce monthly gross profit or contribution. CAC divided by that monthly amount gives payback in months. The calculation requires positive monthly margin when acquisition cost is positive.
CAC payback · Business ↗What does changing the margin basis do?CAC payback
It changes labels and explanatory context between gross profit and contribution. It does not calculate a different percentage or inspect your costs. Enter the correct margin percentage for the selected definition so the comparison reflects the costs you intend to recover.
CAC payback · Business ↗Why are payback period and first recovered month different?CAC payback
The period is a fractional estimate with margin accruing evenly. First recovered month end rounds upward for receipts at month end, starting after acquisition. A 7.5-month estimate therefore becomes recovery at month 8 under that timing convention.
CAC payback · Business ↗What happens if CAC is zero?CAC payback
The result is immediate recovery at month zero because there is no acquisition amount to repay. This remains true even if revenue or margin is zero. It does not establish that future revenue is certain or that the customer is profitable overall.
CAC payback · Business ↗What if revenue or margin is zero?CAC payback
A positive CAC cannot be recovered from a zero monthly margin amount. The calculator reports no payback at those inputs and keeps the acquisition cost unrecovered in the schedule. Negative margins are outside this tool’s accepted range.
CAC payback · Business ↗Does this account for churn or expansion?CAC payback
No. Monthly revenue and margin remain constant and the customer stays active throughout the schedule. Compare that assumption with actual retention and expansion data. A customer leaving before recovery can make the constant-revenue estimate unsuitable.
CAC payback · Business ↗Can I use annual prepaid subscriptions?CAC payback
You can enter a consistent monthly revenue equivalent for a margin-based comparison, but the schedule will not reproduce upfront cash receipts. Annual billing and delivery costs have different timing. Build a separate cash-flow plan if cash recovery is your question.
CAC payback · Business ↗Is there a universally good payback period?CAC payback
This calculator supplies no universal benchmark. Interpret the result alongside available cash, retention, margin reliability and business model. Compare like-for-like cohorts over time; a faster estimate with unreliable revenue assumptions can be less useful than a slower, well-supported one.
CAC payback · Business ↗How is loaded monthly hire cost calculated?Hiring runway
Annual salary is divided by 12 and multiplied by one plus the overhead percentage as a decimal. A 60,000 salary with 20% overhead becomes 6,000 monthly cost. Overhead is a user assumption; no local employer-tax rates are looked up.
Hiring runway · Business ↗When are one-time hiring costs paid?Hiring runway
They are subtracted at the start of the hire month, before that month’s regular flows. A start month of 3 means after two complete baseline months. If the upfront payment exhausts cash, runway ends at that boundary rather than the month end.
Hiring runway · Business ↗What does fractional runway mean here?Hiring runway
After upfront costs, regular collections and expenses are assumed to flow evenly through each month. The tool interpolates when cash first reaches zero. Actual payroll dates and receipt timing can produce a different practical shortage, so the fraction is a planning approximation.
Hiring runway · Business ↗Why does the schedule continue into negative cash?Hiring runway
Negative balances show the theoretical funding shortfall if the same operations continued. They are not available bank balances. Use them to understand required funding or changes to the plan, rather than assuming the business can continue without additional cash.
Hiring runway · Business ↗Does the hire generate additional revenue in this model?Hiring runway
No. Monthly revenue and baseline expenses stay constant in both scenarios. The hiring case adds only the entered costs. Evaluate productivity or sales benefits separately; do not assume a cost-only scenario forecasts the role’s full economic return.
Hiring runway · Business ↗Why is runway reduction sometimes not determined?Hiring runway
The tool can subtract depletion times only when both scenarios reach zero within the chosen horizon. If either remains positive through that window, its exact depletion time is not established here, so an exact reduction is not reported.
Hiring runway · Business ↗Can I model several hires?Hiring runway
This tool models one start month and one combined recurring salary amount. Hires with different start dates, salaries or upfront payments require a separate detailed forecast. Combining them into one entry would lose the timing differences that affect cash.
Hiring runway · Business ↗What happens if starting cash is zero?Hiring runway
Both scenarios have zero starting runway even if later net flow is positive. That reflects the absence of a present cash buffer. Future collections may arrive after an immediate obligation, which a positive monthly total alone cannot resolve.
Hiring runway · Business ↗What is the difference between urlset and sitemapindex?Sitemap validator
A urlset lists individual page URLs. A sitemapindex lists the public locations of sitemap files. This tool can split a urlset and build an index for its output. An input sitemapindex is validated only; its remote children are not downloaded or examined.
Sitemap validator · Marketing ↗What size limits does splitting respect?Sitemap validator
Each generated part stays within your selected cap of at most 50,000 entries and the protocol’s 52,428,800-byte uncompressed limit. XML wrappers and serialized entries count toward bytes. A part may contain fewer than the selected entry limit when its bytes require an earlier split.
Sitemap validator · Marketing ↗Can I upload a compressed sitemap?Sitemap validator
No. Supply uncompressed UTF-8 XML. Browser input is capped at 64 MiB and 100,000 entries, so very large exports need a streaming workflow instead. Decompress a gzip file separately, then check whether the resulting XML fits the input limits.
Sitemap validator · Marketing ↗What date formats are accepted for lastmod?Sitemap validator
The checker accepts real full calendar dates such as 2026-10-10 and supported timestamps with a timezone. It rejects impossible dates and reduced-precision dates. A syntactically accepted date does not prove that it accurately reflects the page’s last meaningful modification.
Sitemap validator · Marketing ↗Are duplicate URLs removed when splitting?Sitemap validator
No. Duplicates are reported as warnings and preserved in output. Review your source and remove unintended duplicates before splitting if that is your desired policy. Automatic deletion could conceal why duplicate entries appeared or alter an export you intended to inspect.
Sitemap validator · Marketing ↗Can entries use different domains or protocols?Sitemap validator
This checker flags mixed origins and expects a suitable same-origin output directory for splitting. Cross-site submission arrangements are outside its verification. Separate origins in your source and use the directory scope that covers the listed paths before generating the files.
Sitemap validator · Marketing ↗Does it validate image, video or news sitemap extensions?Sitemap validator
Extension XML is preserved during splitting, but its schema is not fully validated. The checker focuses on XML syntax, supported core fields, location formats, dates, duplicate detection and limits. Use the extension’s official requirements when those additional elements are important.
Sitemap validator · Marketing ↗What should I do after downloading the index?Sitemap validator
Upload both the index and every part to the directory used during generation. Check that their URLs are publicly accessible and correct, then reference or submit the index through your chosen search-engine workflow. Sitemap submission remains a discovery aid rather than an indexing promise.
Sitemap validator · Marketing ↗Which JSON shapes are accepted?JSON to CSV
Use a single object or a top-level array whose records are all objects. Primitive arrays, null records and JSON Lines are not accepted. An API envelope containing an array is not automatically expanded into rows; extract the intended record array before pasting it.
JSON to CSV · Utilities ↗How do nested objects become column names?JSON to CSV
Each nested object path is joined with dots, so contact.city becomes a column. The header is an ordered union across all records, following first appearance. Empty objects remain the cell text {}, while nonempty objects continue into their nested properties.
JSON to CSV · Utilities ↗What happens to missing fields and null?JSON to CSV
A field absent from a record produces a blank cell in its shared column. Explicit JSON null produces the text null. This distinguishes absence from a stated null value, although your spreadsheet may apply additional type or text transformations during import.
JSON to CSV · Utilities ↗Can arrays become multiple rows?JSON to CSV
No. Arrays remain one cell, either serialized as JSON or joined with | when all their items are primitive values. There is no array explosion or relationship-table generation. Nested objects or arrays inside an array require the JSON-cell mode rather than primitive joining.
JSON to CSV · Utilities ↗Why do keys containing dots sometimes cause an error?JSON to CSV
A literal key a.b and a nested path a then b would both flatten into the same header. The converter rejects that collision rather than overwriting data. Rename the literal key or restructure the records so each flattened path has a distinct name.
JSON to CSV · Utilities ↗Will long numeric IDs keep every digit?JSON to CSV
Not if they are supplied as unsafe JSON numbers. The converter rejects detected unsafe integers, but JSON parsing still uses floating-point numbers and can round decimals. Supply identifiers and exact numeric text in quoted JSON strings, then import those columns as text where required.
JSON to CSV · Utilities ↗Why does protection prefix a negative number?JSON to CSV
The protection rule treats leading formula-like characters, including minus, as suspicious text. It is a precaution rather than full spreadsheet validation and can affect legitimate numeric values. Leave it on for review, or disable it only when preserving trusted original cell text is appropriate.
JSON to CSV · Utilities ↗How much data can I convert?JSON to CSV
Limits include 2 MB input, 10,000 records, 500 columns, 500,000 cells, 32 nesting levels and a 10 MB export. The table shows at most 500 rows. Reduce the batch or selected fields when a limit is reached rather than assuming the preview is the full file.
JSON to CSV · Utilities ↗How is profit margin calculated here?Profit margin and target-price
The calculator subtracts entered unit cost from the selling price and divides that difference by the selling price. At a price of 100 and cost of 60, the profit amount is 40 and the margin is 40%. The meaning depends on which costs you included.
Profit margin and target-price · Business ↗How do I calculate a price from a target margin?Profit margin and target-price
Divide unit cost by one minus the target margin as a decimal. A cost of 60 and a 40% target give 60 divided by 0.60, or 100. Adding 40% to cost instead produces a markup calculation and a lower margin.
Profit margin and target-price · Business ↗Why can my current margin be negative?Profit margin and target-price
A negative margin means the current price is below the entered cost. The tool keeps that loss visible. Check discounts, incorrect currency units and duplicated costs first; if the inputs are right, changing volume alone will not repair this per-unit loss.
Profit margin and target-price · Business ↗What happens if I enter a zero cost?Profit margin and target-price
With a positive selling price and no modeled cost, current margin is 100%. The algebraic target price becomes zero, where margin itself is undefined. That zero is a warning that your selected cost model cannot identify a meaningful positive target price.
Profit margin and target-price · Business ↗Why is a 100% target rejected?Profit margin and target-price
A 100% margin would leave no share of the price to cover a positive cost. The target-price denominator becomes zero, so no finite price solves it. Choose a target below 100% and check that your cost estimate is complete.
Profit margin and target-price · Business ↗Should customer acquisition cost be included?Profit margin and target-price
Include a defensible per-unit acquisition allocation if you want a pricing scenario after that expense. Keep it separate in your records because acquisition cost can vary by channel and order size. A product-cost-only margin answers a narrower accounting question.
Profit margin and target-price · Business ↗Does the target price include tax?Profit margin and target-price
The model uses the price you enter and does not calculate tax. For a price excluding pass-through tax, add the relevant tax separately when preparing an actual customer quote. Tax-inclusive pricing needs a consistent cost and revenue treatment outside this simple model.
Profit margin and target-price · Business ↗What should I do after finding a target price?Profit margin and target-price
Test the price against customer expectations, competing offers and your contribution after fees. Then model an ordinary discount or returns scenario. A target margin is a useful constraint, but it does not demonstrate that the expected number of customers will buy.
Profit margin and target-price · Business ↗What is the difference between markup and margin?Markup versus margin
Markup is the profit amount divided by unit cost; margin is the profit amount divided by selling price. Because selling price is larger than cost when profit is positive, the margin percentage is lower than the corresponding markup percentage.
Markup versus margin · Business ↗How do I convert markup to margin?Markup versus margin
Turn markup into a decimal, then divide it by one plus that decimal. For 50% markup, 0.50 divided by 1.50 gives one third, or 33.33% margin. The calculator also shows the price for your entered unit cost.
Markup versus margin · Business ↗How do I convert margin to markup?Markup versus margin
Divide the margin decimal by one minus the margin decimal. A 40% margin gives 0.40 divided by 0.60, or 66.67% markup. At a cost of 60, both percentages describe the same selling price of 100.
Markup versus margin · Business ↗Can a markup be greater than 100%?Markup versus margin
Yes. A cost of 100 with a 200% markup produces a price of 300 and profit of 200. The equivalent margin is 66.67%. High markup does not itself prove high net profitability because additional business costs may still be omitted.
Markup versus margin · Business ↗Why must the unit cost be above zero?Markup versus margin
A zero cost makes markup undefined because its denominator is zero. The tool requires a positive cost so both percentages can be meaningfully compared. For a service with little material cost, consider an allocation of labor and delivery costs rather than assuming zero.
Markup versus margin · Business ↗Does zero markup mean a zero selling price?Markup versus margin
No. Zero markup means the selling price equals the unit cost and the modeled profit is zero. The equivalent margin is also zero. At a cost of 100, zero markup produces a price of 100, before any expenses outside that cost scope.
Markup versus margin · Business ↗Can this calculator show a loss?Markup versus margin
This converter accepts nonnegative markup and margin because it is intended for positive-cost pricing targets. To analyze an existing selling price below cost, use the profit margin and target-price calculator, which keeps negative current margins visible.
Markup versus margin · Business ↗Should I use margin or markup for my price sheet?Markup versus margin
Either can work if the definition and cost scope are stated. Margin is useful when evaluating the share of revenue retained; markup is useful when building a price from cost. Include both when exchanging a spreadsheet with people who use different conventions.
Markup versus margin · Business ↗Are these Etsy fees current for every seller?Etsy fee and net profit
No. The calculator is a configurable model and does not detect your location or contract. The example processing rate and fixed amount are illustrative. Use the official policy and your payment-account details to enter the applicable values before relying on a scenario.
Etsy fee and net profit · Business ↗Why does shipping appear as both revenue and cost?Etsy fee and net profit
Shipping charged to the buyer increases the order revenue, while postage and fulfillment reduce profit. They may be equal, but they are different entries. Keeping them separate also allows the percentage fee calculation to include charged shipping without hiding a shipping subsidy.
Etsy fee and net profit · Business ↗How do the tax-base fields work?Etsy fee and net profit
They add tax excluded from retained revenue to the relevant fee base. Transaction and advertising share one adjustment; payment processing has its own adjustment. This is useful when fee policies treat tax differently. Enter zero when no additional taxable amount belongs in that base.
Etsy fee and net profit · Business ↗Does the calculator automatically identify an Offsite Ads order?Etsy fee and net profit
No. Enter zero when no attributed fee applies, or enter the applicable rate for an attributed order. The cap is expressed in your working currency, and zero means this estimate does not apply a cap. Review attribution and policy eligibility separately.
Etsy fee and net profit · Business ↗How should I enter listing fees for multiple items?Etsy fee and net profit
Enter the total listing-fee allocation relevant to the order, in the same currency as revenue. Consider quantity renewals and your allocation of unsold listings. The calculator subtracts the amount entered once and does not infer the number of listings or renewals.
Etsy fee and net profit · Business ↗Is net order proceeds the same as profit?Etsy fee and net profit
No. Net proceeds subtract the modeled platform fees from retained order revenue. Modeled profit then subtracts product, packaging and actual shipping costs. Overhead and income taxes remain excluded unless included through a deliberate cost allocation, so neither figure automatically equals accounting net income.
Etsy fee and net profit · Business ↗Where do conversion costs and tax on seller fees go?Etsy fee and net profit
Enter known amounts in Other fees and tax on fees, using the same working currency. The tool does not fetch exchange rates or calculate VAT. Check whether a statement already includes these expenses before adding them, to avoid deducting the same cost twice.
Etsy fee and net profit · Business ↗Why does my statement differ from this estimate?Etsy fee and net profit
Review the fee bases, discounts, regional rates, renewals, attributed advertising and taxes on fees. Providers may round each component differently, while this model uses unrounded calculations before display. Refund adjustments and account-level timing also require a statement-based reconciliation rather than a single-order estimate.
Etsy fee and net profit · Business ↗How are the Stripe-style fees calculated?Stripe fee and required-charge
The tool adds the base, international and conversion percentages, applies that combined rate to the charge, and adds one fixed fee. At a charge of 100 with 2.9% plus 0.30 and no additions, the estimated deduction is 3.20.
Stripe fee and required-charge · Business ↗How does the required-charge calculation work?Stripe fee and required-charge
It adds the fixed fee to your desired net amount and divides by one minus the combined percentage rate. This accounts for fees on the extra charge too. The result is rounded upward to a 0.01 unit so the unrounded model reaches the target.
Stripe fee and required-charge · Business ↗Are the default rates official pricing for my country?Stripe fee and required-charge
No. They are illustrative inputs. Stripe publishes country- and product-specific pricing, and some businesses use custom terms. Check the appropriate pricing page and account agreement, then replace every applicable component rather than assuming the example matches your payment.
Stripe fee and required-charge · Business ↗Does the tool calculate profit after a sale?Stripe fee and required-charge
It calculates proceeds after the processing fees entered. Product cost, fulfillment, advertising, overhead and taxes are separate expenses. Take the resulting fee estimate into a contribution or pricing calculator when you need to evaluate whether a sale is profitable.
Stripe fee and required-charge · Business ↗Why must combined percentage fees be below 100%?Stripe fee and required-charge
The reverse formula needs a positive share of each charge to remain after percentage fees. At 100% or more, increasing the charge cannot produce a positive desired receipt under this model. Check that you entered percentages rather than decimal fractions or duplicate components.
Stripe fee and required-charge · Business ↗Can I use this for currencies without two decimal places?Stripe fee and required-charge
Existing-charge mode can illustrate the formula, but desired-net mode assumes increments of 0.01. Some currencies have different minor units or provider handling. Confirm the actual currency rounding rules before using the suggested charge in a quote or payment request.
Stripe fee and required-charge · Business ↗Does this include refunds, disputes and payouts?Stripe fee and required-charge
No. It models one successful transaction with the rates you enter. Refund treatment, dispute charges, recurring product fees, payout fees and reserve adjustments belong in separate scenarios. A full account reconciliation needs the provider statement and the applicable product rules.
Stripe fee and required-charge · Business ↗Does a required charge authorize adding a customer surcharge?Stripe fee and required-charge
No. The result is an arithmetic pricing scenario. It does not establish whether a particular fee can be passed to a customer, how it must be displayed, or whether a payment agreement allows it. Use applicable rules when making actual pricing decisions.
Stripe fee and required-charge · Business ↗How does this PayPal merchant fee estimate work?PayPal merchant fee
It multiplies the gross transaction by the sum of your merchant and international percentages, then adds the fixed amount and other fees. Net receipt is the gross amount minus those entered fees. The table keeps each deduction visible for comparison.
PayPal merchant fee · Business ↗Do the default rates apply to every PayPal account?PayPal merchant fee
No. The defaults are illustrative and do not select your market, product or contract. PayPal publishes separate merchant fee details by market, with different payment types and received-currency fixed amounts. Replace the inputs using the fee table relevant to your transaction.
PayPal merchant fee · Business ↗Why is the effective fee percentage higher on small payments?PayPal merchant fee
A fixed fee is the same amount even when the payment is small, so it consumes a larger share of the gross transaction. For an illustrative 3.49% plus 0.49 tariff, a payment of 10 has an effective fee share of 8.39%.
PayPal merchant fee · Business ↗When should I add the international rate?PayPal merchant fee
Add it when your applicable merchant tariff charges an additional international percentage for that transaction. Do not assume a foreign-looking currency alone establishes the transaction classification. Account markets and provider definitions matter, so verify the payment details and corresponding official tariff.
PayPal merchant fee · Business ↗Does the Other fees field calculate currency conversion?PayPal merchant fee
No. It accepts an amount already estimated or taken from a statement in the transaction’s working currency. Exchange-rate differences and conversion methods require separate data. The calculator does not fetch exchange rates or model the actual rate used in settlement.
PayPal merchant fee · Business ↗Why can a zero or tiny amount produce a negative net?PayPal merchant fee
The arithmetic still subtracts the fixed and other amounts you entered. If those exceed the modeled payment, the result is negative. That demonstrates the assumptions; it does not confirm PayPal accepts that payment or charges a fixed fee on an actual zero transaction.
PayPal merchant fee · Business ↗Can I use this for personal transfers or refunds?PayPal merchant fee
This page is designed for a merchant percentage-plus-fixed scenario. Personal transfers, refunds, reversals and fee caps may use different rules. Do not reuse the estimate without checking the applicable product treatment and whether original fees are retained or adjusted.
PayPal merchant fee · Business ↗How do I check a difference against my statement?PayPal merchant fee
Match the fee base, payment product, account market, currency, international component and any extra charges. Also check rounding and refunds. If all inputs match but a difference remains, use the provider’s transaction-level breakdown rather than forcing the calculator to fit an unexplained total.
PayPal merchant fee · Business ↗What does the cash conversion cycle measure?Cash conversion cycle
It is an aggregate estimate of the days between investment in operating inventory and recovery through customer collections, offset by supplier-payment timing. The calculator combines DIO plus DSO minus DPO. It summarizes working-capital timing rather than forecasting a bank balance.
Cash conversion cycle · Business ↗How are inventory days calculated?Cash conversion cycle
Average inventory at cost is divided by the period’s cost of goods sold and multiplied by the number of days in that period. For inventory of 30,000, COGS of 90,000 and 90 days, the estimate is 30 inventory days.
Cash conversion cycle · Business ↗Why does this DPO calculation use COGS?Cash conversion cycle
This model uses cost of goods sold as a common proxy for the supplier-cost flow. A purchases-based denominator is another convention. When inventory builds or falls significantly, purchases and COGS differ, so record the convention and keep comparisons consistent.
Cash conversion cycle · Business ↗Can the cash conversion cycle be negative?Cash conversion cycle
Yes. The result is negative when modeled payable days exceed inventory plus receivables days. For the example balances with payables increased to 90,000, DPO becomes 90 and the cycle becomes minus 40 days. Check supplier obligations and scope before drawing conclusions.
Cash conversion cycle · Business ↗What happens when credit sales or COGS is zero?Cash conversion cycle
The relevant ratios have zero denominators and are undefined, so this calculator requires both to be positive. A business without inventory or credit sales may need a narrower cash-flow model rather than forcing a full inventory-based conversion cycle to produce a number.
Cash conversion cycle · Business ↗Can I calculate CCC for a quarter instead of a year?Cash conversion cycle
Yes. Enter the quarter’s actual day count, its COGS and net credit sales, and balances representative of that quarter. Do not leave annual amounts in the denominators. Seasonality still makes direct comparison with a different quarter harder to interpret.
Cash conversion cycle · Business ↗How do I choose average balances?Cash conversion cycle
A beginning-and-ending average is a practical starting point. For volatile inventory, large invoices or seasonal businesses, average monthly or more frequent comparable snapshots instead. Enter that average directly. The tool does not retrieve accounting balances or choose the sampling schedule.
Cash conversion cycle · Business ↗What should I investigate after the result changes?Cash conversion cycle
Inspect the component that moved: inventory aging for higher DIO, invoice aging and sales mix for higher DSO, or supplier terms and overdue bills for DPO changes. Pair those findings with a dated cash forecast so actions reflect actual payment timing.
Cash conversion cycle · Business ↗How is days sales outstanding calculated?Days sales outstanding
The tool averages opening and closing receivables, divides that average by net credit sales, and multiplies by reporting-period days. With average receivables of 40,000, credit sales of 180,000 and 90 days, DSO is 20 days.
Days sales outstanding · Business ↗Is DSO the average number of days invoices took to pay?Days sales outstanding
It is a balance-to-sales ratio expressed in days, not an invoice-by-invoice payment-time average. Sales mix, outstanding older invoices and growth affect the ratio. To measure actual invoice collection durations, analyze issue dates, payment dates and partial payments separately.
Days sales outstanding · Business ↗Should I use average or closing receivables?Days sales outstanding
This calculator deliberately uses a two-point average to reduce dependence on one closing-date snapshot. Other dashboards may use ending receivables. Either convention needs clear labeling and consistent comparisons; a result from one method should not be treated as identical to the other.
Days sales outstanding · Business ↗Why must net credit sales be positive?Days sales outstanding
The sales amount is the denominator. Zero sales makes DSO undefined, even when unpaid invoices remain. A no-sales period should be reviewed through invoice aging and cash forecasts rather than assigning a manufactured collection-time ratio.
Days sales outstanding · Business ↗What does a zero DSO mean here?Days sales outstanding
When both receivables balances are zero and credit sales are positive, the modeled average is zero and DSO is zero. Period turnover is undefined because its denominator is zero. This does not prove there were no receivables between the two snapshot dates.
Days sales outstanding · Business ↗Does entering payment terms change DSO?Days sales outstanding
No. Terms only create the comparison labeled DSO minus entered terms. The receivables, credit sales and reporting days determine DSO. A negative gap is below the benchmark; a positive gap warrants investigation but does not identify specific overdue invoices.
Days sales outstanding · Business ↗Can I compare a monthly result with an annual result?Days sales outstanding
Both express a ratio in days, but their underlying sales pace and balance averages can differ significantly. Seasonal activity and growth may explain the difference. Prefer comparable periods using the same receivables convention, and examine the underlying invoices before interpreting a trend.
Days sales outstanding · Business ↗What should I review when DSO increases?Days sales outstanding
Check invoice aging, disputes, customer mix, credit notes and changes in sales pace. A slower sales period can increase the ratio even without new overdue invoices. Use the aggregate signal to guide investigation rather than automatically changing every customer’s payment terms.
Days sales outstanding · Business ↗How is inventory turnover calculated?Inventory turnover and inventory days
Divide COGS for the measured period by average inventory at cost for that same period. With 300,000 of COGS and 50,000 of average stock, turnover is 6. Keep the cost basis and dates aligned so that the numerator and denominator describe the same operation.
Inventory turnover and inventory days · Business ↗What is the difference between turnover and inventory days?Inventory turnover and inventory days
Turnover expresses the relationship as the number of stock turns during the period. Inventory days expresses it as period days divided by turnover. In the example, 90 ÷ 6 gives 15 days. They are two views of the same inputs rather than independent performance scores.
Inventory turnover and inventory days · Business ↗Should I always use 365 days?Inventory turnover and inventory days
Use 365 only when your COGS covers a 365-day reporting period. For a month, quarter or leap-year window, enter the actual day count. A 90-day COGS figure combined with 365 days would overstate this calculation’s inventory-days result by using mismatched time periods.
Inventory turnover and inventory days · Business ↗Can I use opening and closing inventory to find the average?Inventory turnover and inventory days
Yes: add the opening and closing cost balances and divide by two as a simple approximation. If you begin with 40,000 and end with 60,000, enter 50,000. For irregular deliveries or a seasonal peak, consider averaging daily or monthly balances instead of relying on two endpoints.
Inventory turnover and inventory days · Business ↗What happens if no stock was sold?Inventory turnover and inventory days
With positive average inventory and zero COGS, turnover is zero. There is no finite days estimate because average daily COGS is zero. The tool reports that directly. Do not replace zero with a small invented sales amount simply to obtain a finite result.
Inventory turnover and inventory days · Business ↗Why must average inventory be greater than zero?Inventory turnover and inventory days
Turnover divides by average inventory, so a zero balance makes that ratio undefined. If COGS is positive while your reported average inventory is zero, check rounding, drop-shipping activity and the balance definition. This calculator is designed for inventory you actually hold at a measurable cost value.
Inventory turnover and inventory days · Business ↗Is a higher inventory turnover always better?Inventory turnover and inventory days
Judge it alongside availability, margin, supplier timing and customer service. Selling quickly can release working capital, but insufficient stock can also create missed orders. Compare the same category over time and investigate availability problems before reducing inventory solely to improve the ratio.
Inventory turnover and inventory days · Business ↗What should I do after the calculation?Inventory turnover and inventory days
Separate the total into useful categories or SKUs, compare matched periods and inspect obsolete stock and upcoming replenishment dates. Pair this ratio with landed cost to understand cash tied up in inventory. The CSV preserves the assumptions so the next review uses a comparable basis.
Inventory turnover and inventory days · Business ↗What is the MRR movement formula?MRR and ARR movement
Start with opening MRR, add new, expansion and reactivation MRR, then subtract contraction and churn MRR. The result is ending MRR. Net movement is ending minus starting MRR. All entered amounts must already be normalized to the same monthly recurring basis.
MRR and ARR movement · Business ↗How does the calculator convert MRR to ARR?MRR and ARR movement
It multiplies calculated ending MRR by 12. For 11,450 of ending MRR, the annualized run rate is 137,400. This is a snapshot-based metric. It does not sum invoices across the last 12 months or predict the effects of future growth, renewals or churn.
MRR and ARR movement · Business ↗What is the difference between expansion and new MRR?MRR and ARR movement
New MRR comes from first-time paying customers. Expansion is additional recurring revenue from an existing customer, such as a higher plan, more seats or a recurring add-on. Classifying them separately lets you see whether growth depends on acquisition or increased value from the customer base.
MRR and ARR movement · Business ↗Where do returning customers belong?MRR and ARR movement
Use reactivation for previously churned customers who resume paying under your chosen reporting policy. Do not also count the same amount as new MRR. Different billing tools can use different reactivation definitions, so retain that policy when comparing months or reconciling an external report.
MRR and ARR movement · Business ↗What does a nonzero reconciliation difference mean?MRR and ARR movement
The difference is observed ending MRR minus calculated ending MRR. A positive result means the observed report is higher; a negative result means it is lower. Check missing events, duplicate buckets, discount changes, currency handling and reporting cutoffs. The difference identifies a gap but does not diagnose its cause.
MRR and ARR movement · Business ↗Can starting MRR be zero?MRR and ARR movement
Yes. A new business can enter zero opening MRR and add its first subscriptions. Ending MRR and ARR still calculate normally, but percentage growth is undefined because there is no positive starting denominator. The calculator shows that distinction rather than describing first sales as infinite growth.
MRR and ARR movement · Business ↗Why are large loss amounts rejected?MRR and ARR movement
The entered contraction and churn cannot exceed starting MRR plus the additions in this bridge, because that would create a negative recurring balance. Review overlapping losses and event ordering. When a customer upgrades and later cancels, your report must classify the movements consistently without subtracting the same revenue twice.
MRR and ARR movement · Business ↗Should I use this bridge to calculate retention?MRR and ARR movement
Use the retention calculator for that task. This bridge includes new customers and reactivations and explains total recurring revenue movement. NRR and GRR examine a defined existing customer cohort. Adding new-customer revenue to retention can hide losses among the customers you began the period with.
MRR and ARR movement · Business ↗How do I calculate customer churn rate?Customer and revenue churn
Divide customers lost from the opening cohort by the number of customers at the start, then multiply by 100. Ten departures from 200 starting customers produce 5% churn. New signups do not change this calculation, because they were not members of the opening cohort.
Customer and revenue churn · Business ↗What does gross revenue churn include here?Customer and revenue churn
This tool adds recurring revenue lost through cancellations and downgrades, divides by opening cohort recurring revenue and expresses the result as a percentage. Expansion is excluded. Document this definition when comparing reports, because another dashboard may use revenue churn to refer only to cancellation losses.
Customer and revenue churn · Business ↗What makes net revenue churn negative?Customer and revenue churn
Net revenue churn subtracts expansion from cancellation and downgrade losses before dividing by opening revenue. If expansion is larger than the losses, the numerator is negative. In the example, 2,000 of losses minus 2,500 of expansion creates −500, or −2.5% of the opening 20,000.
Customer and revenue churn · Business ↗Can customer churn be zero while revenue churn is positive?Customer and revenue churn
Yes. Customers can keep their accounts while reducing seats, usage or subscription tiers. Enter zero lost customers and the recurring downgrade amount to see that pattern. Also keep your counting unit consistent: customer accounts and individual subscriptions are not necessarily the same thing.
Customer and revenue churn · Business ↗Do I enter total ending customers?Customer and revenue churn
No. Enter the number of opening-cohort customers actually lost. Suppose you begin with 200, lose 10 and acquire 30: total ending customers are 220, but churn is still 10 ÷ 200 = 5%. Net customer growth cannot identify churn without the underlying departures.
Customer and revenue churn · Business ↗Can I calculate churn for a quarter or year?Customer and revenue churn
Yes. Select the matching period and collect losses and expansions over that window, using the cohort present at its start. Keep revenue normalized consistently. The selector labels the result; it does not annualize a monthly rate or estimate future churn from a partial period.
Customer and revenue churn · Business ↗Why are zero opening bases or excessive losses rejected?Customer and revenue churn
The rates divide by starting customers and starting revenue, so both must be positive. Revenue losses measured against the opening cohort cannot exceed that opening base in this model. If your event totals do, review repeated upgrades and cancellations rather than treating every billing event as another opening-base loss.
Customer and revenue churn · Business ↗What should I investigate after a high churn result?Customer and revenue churn
Review the affected accounts by plan, tenure, acquisition source and reason for leaving. Separate voluntary cancellations from payment-related losses using a documented policy. Then compare retention and modeled LTV using the same cohort. An aggregate percentage alone cannot explain a product or service problem.
Customer and revenue churn · Business ↗What are the NRR and GRR formulas used here?Net and gross revenue retention
GRR is opening cohort revenue minus churn and contraction, divided by opening revenue. NRR uses the same numerator with existing-cohort expansion added. Both ratios are multiplied by 100. The calculator also shows the recurring-revenue bridge, which helps verify exactly what each percentage includes.
Net and gross revenue retention · Business ↗Why can net revenue retention exceed 100%?Net and gross revenue retention
Existing customers may upgrade, add seats or buy recurring services. If those gains exceed cancellation and downgrade losses, the same cohort ends with more recurring revenue than it started with. In the example, ending revenue of 107,000 divided by 100,000 gives 107% NRR.
Net and gross revenue retention · Business ↗Can gross revenue retention exceed 100%?Net and gross revenue retention
No, under this definition. GRR excludes expansion and subtracts only nonnegative losses from the opening base. If a report presents GRR above 100%, review its naming, cohort selection and calculation. It may be measuring net retention, total revenue growth or a different renewal metric.
Net and gross revenue retention · Business ↗Does strong NRR mean churn is not a problem?Net and gross revenue retention
It does not settle that question. Expansion from a few large accounts can offset losses elsewhere. Compare GRR, customer churn and account concentration alongside NRR. The example’s 107% NRR still contains 8,000 of cancellation and downgrade losses that deserve their own investigation.
Net and gross revenue retention · Business ↗Should I use monthly recurring revenue or annual recurring revenue?Net and gross revenue retention
Either basis works if every input uses it consistently. Converting all amounts by the same factor leaves the retention percentages unchanged. The reporting window still matters: MRR observed at the start and end of a year can support annual cohort retention, without requiring annual invoice totals.
Net and gross revenue retention · Business ↗How do I treat reactivated customers?Net and gross revenue retention
Set a policy before comparing reports. This calculator follows customers present at the start and uses net cohort changes; it has no separate reactivation field. Customers absent at the opening are excluded. If an opening customer cancels and returns, reconcile their final recurring amount rather than double-counting the departure and return.
Net and gross revenue retention · Business ↗What if the starting cohort has no recurring revenue?Net and gross revenue retention
NRR and GRR are undefined because opening revenue is the denominator. Use a positive paying cohort or report new business separately. The MRR movement tool accepts a zero opening balance when you want to describe a launch or the first paying customers, rather than retention.
Net and gross revenue retention · Business ↗How does NRR relate to net revenue churn?Net and gross revenue retention
With the same cohort and this tool’s definitions, net revenue churn equals 100% minus NRR. NRR of 107% corresponds to −7% net revenue churn. Do not combine figures from different periods or dashboards unless their treatment of expansion, contraction and reactivation matches.
Net and gross revenue retention · Business ↗How does this calculator model customer lifetime contribution?Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC
It multiplies monthly revenue by contribution margin, then weights month t by the probability the customer is still active at that month’s start. The first month has a weight of 1. With 10% monthly churn, the following weights are 0.9, 0.81 and so on.
Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC · Business ↗What is the difference between finite and long-run LTV?Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC
Finite LTV sums expected contribution over the entered horizon. The long-run model extends the same geometric survival pattern indefinitely; with positive churn it equals monthly contribution divided by monthly churn as a decimal. The selected basis determines the headline LTV:CAC ratio, while the table remains finite.
Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC · Business ↗Why is zero-churn long-run LTV unbounded?Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC
At zero churn the model keeps every customer active forever. With positive monthly contribution, adding an unlimited number of identical months cannot produce a finite sum. The tool labels this unbounded assumption directly. Select a finite horizon instead when you need a bounded planning scenario.
Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC · Business ↗What happens with 100% monthly churn?Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC
The timing assumption gives the customer month 1 contribution before the first month-end churn opportunity. At 100% churn there is no contribution from month 2 onward. With revenue 60 and margin 50%, modeled contribution is therefore 30, regardless of a longer finite horizon.
Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC · Business ↗Is this lifetime revenue or profit?Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC
It is modeled contribution before acquisition spending. The entered margin deducts the variable costs you choose, so it differs from pure lifetime revenue. Fixed overhead, taxes and discounting are not modeled. The separate value-after-CAC metric subtracts acquisition cost but still is not a full company profit forecast.
Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC · Business ↗What does an undefined LTV:CAC ratio mean?Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC
CAC of zero leaves no positive denominator for the ratio, even if modeled contribution is positive. Likewise, an unbounded long-run LTV has no finite ratio. The calculator does not manufacture an infinite performance score. You can still inspect the finite contribution projection and its assumptions.
Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC · Business ↗Can I use annual churn in the monthly churn field?Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC
No. This model applies the entered probability at each month end. For a constant survival assumption, an annual customer churn rate a corresponds to monthly churn 1 − (1 − a)^(1/12), not a divided by 12. Prefer measured monthly cohort behavior when it is available.
Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC · Business ↗What is a good LTV:CAC ratio for my business?Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC
A single universal target would ignore the horizon, margin definition, collection timing and uncertainty in retention. Compare like-for-like cohorts and stress-test churn and cost assumptions. Use CAC payback alongside this result to understand how long recovery takes, and cash runway to judge whether the business can fund that wait.
Customer lifetime value and LTV:CAC · Business ↗What is the difference between ROAS and MER?ROAS and marketing efficiency
ROAS divides revenue credited to an ad campaign by that campaign’s ad spend. MER divides total business revenue by total marketing spending. The first is attribution-dependent and campaign-specific; the second is a blended business view that also includes sales from organic and returning customers.
ROAS and marketing efficiency · Business ↗How do I read a ROAS of 3×?ROAS and marketing efficiency
It means the reported campaign generated or was credited with three units of revenue per unit of ad spend. It can also be expressed as 300%. It does not mean a 300% profit margin or a 300% investment return, because the numerator is revenue rather than profit.
ROAS and marketing efficiency · Business ↗Which costs should I include in total marketing spend?ROAS and marketing efficiency
Choose and document the scope that suits your analysis. It might include paid media, creative production, agency fees, marketing tools and team costs. This calculator does not impose a universal policy, but total marketing spend must include the campaign’s entered ad spend to keep the two scopes coherent.
ROAS and marketing efficiency · Business ↗Why might attributed revenue exceed total business revenue?ROAS and marketing efficiency
Attribution windows can differ from the order-report dates, and platforms can claim overlapping conversions or use different sales definitions. The tool calculates the entered ratios but flags this mismatch. Check dates, refunds, view-through credit and duplicate tracking before treating the numbers as directly comparable.
ROAS and marketing efficiency · Business ↗What if I spent nothing on advertising or marketing?ROAS and marketing efficiency
A zero denominator makes the relevant ratio undefined. Revenue arriving with zero entered spending does not establish an infinite return on a measurable investment. The tool leaves the ratio undefined while still showing any other result with a valid denominator, such as MER when total marketing spend is positive.
ROAS and marketing efficiency · Business ↗Does a high MER prove that marketing caused the sales?ROAS and marketing efficiency
No. MER includes all entered business revenue, including repeat purchases and sales that may have occurred without this period’s marketing. It is a descriptive efficiency ratio. Testing incremental impact requires a separate design that compares outcomes with and without the marketing intervention.
ROAS and marketing efficiency · Business ↗Should I use gross or net sales?ROAS and marketing efficiency
Choose one basis, document it and use it consistently for both scope and date comparisons. Returns, discounts, tax and shipping can change the numerator. When reconciling a campaign report with business sales, inspect those definitions rather than assuming every dashboard uses the same revenue amount.
ROAS and marketing efficiency · Business ↗What should I check before increasing a campaign budget?ROAS and marketing efficiency
Review contribution margin, break-even ROAS, cash needs and whether reported performance is incremental. A revenue multiple alone does not establish affordable acquisition. Compare the result over matched periods, inspect conversion tracking and watch for changes in customer mix or repeat revenue as spending grows.
ROAS and marketing efficiency · Business ↗How is average order value calculated?Average order value
Divide order revenue for a period by the number of corresponding orders in that period. With 80,000 of revenue and 1,000 orders, AOV is 80. The arithmetic is simple; the key reporting choice is what the revenue and order count include.
Average order value · Business ↗Should AOV include discounts, returns, tax or shipping?Average order value
That depends on the report you want to match. Shopify’s marketing metric definition uses gross sales minus discounts divided by orders, while other reports may use a different scope. This tool offers labeled bases and expects you to enter the appropriately adjusted revenue rather than applying hidden adjustments.
Average order value · Business ↗Does choosing a revenue definition change the input amount?Average order value
No. The definition labels your calculation and export. If you choose net product sales, enter revenue already adjusted for the returns and discounts in your source report. Changing the selector alone does not automatically subtract refunds or remove tax and shipping from an entered total.
Average order value · Business ↗How does the target AOV scenario work?Average order value
It multiplies the target basket value by the entered order count. The difference from current revenue is the additional or reduced period revenue at unchanged volume. In the example, target AOV 100 times 1,000 orders gives 100,000, which is 20,000 above the baseline.
Average order value · Business ↗Can I enter a target below my current AOV?Average order value
Yes. The calculator shows a negative per-order and revenue change. With current AOV 80 and target 60, the change is −20 per order or −25%; across 1,000 orders, revenue falls by 20,000 under the fixed-volume assumption. This can help model a lower-price offer.
Average order value · Business ↗What happens if there are no orders or no revenue?Average order value
Order count must be positive because AOV divides by it. Zero revenue with positive orders produces AOV zero. A positive target then has no defined percentage uplift from that zero baseline, though the absolute target revenue still calculates. A zero target against zero AOV has no change.
Average order value · Business ↗How is AOV different from customer lifetime value?Average order value
AOV describes one period’s average order. Customer lifetime value describes value across a customer relationship, incorporating repeat purchases or subscription retention and often a margin adjustment. A larger basket can influence lifetime value, but it does not tell you how often customers return or what they cost to serve.
Average order value · Business ↗What should I test to improve average order value?Average order value
Consider relevant bundles, useful add-ons or a shipping threshold, then measure order conversion and contribution alongside basket value. Keep a baseline using the same revenue definition and comparable dates. If an offer increases AOV but reduces orders or raises fulfillment costs, assess the overall economics before keeping it.
Average order value · Business ↗What does the generator produce?Hreflang tag
It produces HTML link elements for the alternate versions you supply, grouped under each unique destination URL. The markup is plain copyable text. It does not edit a website, create translated pages or change your CMS configuration.
Hreflang tag · Marketing ↗Can I put several products in one CSV?Hreflang tag
Use a separate run for each equivalent-content cluster. This tool treats every row as a version of the same page. Mixing products would therefore create alternate relationships between different products, even though the CSV is structurally valid.
Hreflang tag · Marketing ↗What is x-default for?Hreflang tag
Use it for a fallback destination for audiences without a matching language or region mapping. A selector page is one possible choice. The field is optional; including it should reflect a deliberate destination choice rather than an automatic SEO checkbox.
Hreflang tag · Marketing ↗Why is the same URL allowed more than once?Hreflang tag
One page can intentionally serve multiple audiences, including a language and the fallback. Language values must still be unique. The tool counts mappings separately from unique destinations, so repeated URLs can mean fewer installation locations than tags.
Hreflang tag · Marketing ↗Where do I paste the generated HTML?Hreflang tag
Put the complete block in each listed page’s HTML head using the appropriate template or CMS setting. The page itself must be available. Copying the code into a visible paragraph or leaving it only in a downloaded file does not deploy it.
Hreflang tag · Marketing ↗Does this support every valid script subtag?Hreflang tag
No. It supports two-letter languages, assigned two-letter regions and Hans/Hant script combinations. Other script variations need manual markup and verification. An unsupported input here does not prove that every possible annotation using that script is invalid.
Hreflang tag · Marketing ↗Why does the output contain ampersand entities?Hreflang tag
The generator escapes characters needed inside HTML attributes. A query separator becomes & in the source markup. That protects the attribute syntax; it does not mean you should replace the actual destination URL with a different campaign or page.
Hreflang tag · Marketing ↗What should I check after publishing?Hreflang tag
Compare the rendered annotations with your source table, then review page availability, canonical destinations and content equivalence. Use the offline consistency checker on exported mappings. A clean generated block cannot establish what a crawler receives on the live website.
Hreflang tag · Marketing ↗Is this a live hreflang crawler?Hreflang consistency checker
No. It inspects the CSV in your browser and makes no requests to its URLs. That makes it useful for private staging plans and exported audits, but it cannot confirm page availability or the tags currently served on a website.
Hreflang consistency checker · Marketing ↗What is a source URL versus a target URL?Hreflang consistency checker
Source is the page carrying an annotation. Target is the destination named by that annotation. A self reference has the same source and target. Reversing these columns changes the relationship being checked and can create misleading return-link warnings.
Hreflang consistency checker · Marketing ↗What counts as a return reference?Hreflang consistency checker
For a supplied source-to-target relationship, the checker looks for a row from the target back to the original source. It also compares target self-language values with incoming language labels, while treating x-default as a special fallback mapping.
Hreflang consistency checker · Marketing ↗What does target absent from supplied source pages mean?Hreflang consistency checker
The destination never appears in the source column, so there is no exported annotation set to inspect for that page. Add its source rows if they are available. The message is incomplete-evidence reporting, not a claim that the destination returns an error.
Hreflang consistency checker · Marketing ↗How are duplicate and conflicting mappings different?Hreflang consistency checker
An exact source, target and language repetition is a duplicate. A source assigning the same language to different targets is a conflict. Removing a duplicate cleans the export; resolving a conflict needs a decision about which destination should represent that audience.
Hreflang consistency checker · Marketing ↗Does a consistent result validate language codes?Hreflang consistency checker
Only their supported syntax is checked here. The checker does not maintain the complete ISO code registry. Use the generator or official language guidance to check assigned values, and manually verify any specialized script requirements.
Hreflang consistency checker · Marketing ↗Can I mix several clusters?Hreflang consistency checker
You may include multiple clusters within the row limit, provided each source has complete annotation evidence. The checker compares connected pages rather than inventing cluster membership from folder names. Unrelated pages should not be connected by annotation rows.
Hreflang consistency checker · Marketing ↗What remains after fixing the CSV warnings?Hreflang consistency checker
Check the actual HTML location of tags, redirects, canonical choices and whether pages represent equivalent content. A CSV relationship audit does not establish these conditions. Re-export after template changes so the next report reflects the new implementation.
Hreflang consistency checker · Marketing ↗Does this tool crawl my pages?Bulk meta title and description audit
No. It reads only the pasted metadata CSV. A title or description missing from the export might exist on the website, and a populated export might differ from rendered HTML. Confirm the export source and inspect representative pages before making a large update.
Bulk meta title and description audit · Marketing ↗Are these character ranges Google limits?Bulk meta title and description audit
No. They are configurable review flags. Google title links and snippets can be generated from sources beyond the supplied metadata, and visible length varies with presentation. The tool does not promise that text within a range will appear unchanged.
Bulk meta title and description audit · Marketing ↗How are duplicate values compared?Bulk meta title and description audit
Capitalization is ignored and runs of whitespace are collapsed for comparison. Leading and trailing whitespace is removed. Non-empty fields with the same normalized text are flagged on every matching row. Blank values are counted as missing rather than duplicate text.
Bulk meta title and description audit · Marketing ↗How are emoji and non-English text counted?Bulk meta title and description audit
The report counts Unicode code points. A simple emoji may count as one, while a combined emoji or an accented sequence can contain several code points. This is neither pixel width nor the number of visible grapheme clusters, so check visually when precision matters.
Bulk meta title and description audit · Marketing ↗What does missing metadata fields measure?Bulk meta title and description audit
It counts blank title and blank description cells across the export. A page with both blank contributes two. The rows-to-review measure counts each flagged row once, regardless of how many problems are attached to that row.
Bulk meta title and description audit · Marketing ↗Can a short title still be good?Bulk meta title and description audit
Yes. A concise title can identify a page clearly. The lower threshold is a way to find candidates for review, not a quality judgment. Evaluate whether the wording distinguishes the page, answers its purpose and works with the surrounding site information.
Bulk meta title and description audit · Marketing ↗Why are repeated URLs flagged?Bulk meta title and description audit
Repeated page rows can distort your editing queue and duplicate counts. The comparison ignores capitalization and whitespace for this export check, which can be too broad for case-sensitive paths. Inspect the original URLs before deleting or merging records.
Bulk meta title and description audit · Marketing ↗What should I do after exporting the audit?Bulk meta title and description audit
Assign edits to the pages that need them, record the intended replacement text and validate a fresh crawl or CMS export after publishing. Keep the original report to distinguish resolved omissions from intentional exceptions. The CSV download neutralizes common spreadsheet formula prefixes.
Bulk meta title and description audit · Marketing ↗What data format does this require?Search Console query overlap analyzer
Use a CSV containing query and page together on each row, plus clicks, impressions and position. Metrics must be nonnegative plain numbers, with whole-number clicks and impressions. Get genuine pairs through an appropriate filtered or paired reporting export; do not infer them from separate summaries.
Search Console query overlap analyzer · Marketing ↗What counts as an overlapping query?Search Console query overlap analyzer
A query must have more than one distinct supplied page with positive impressions and meet your combined-impressions threshold. Zero-impression pairs remain part of the input analysis but do not create overlap. Query text is kept exact, so differently capitalized query strings are separate groups.
Search Console query overlap analyzer · Marketing ↗How are repeated query–page pairs handled?Search Console query overlap analyzer
Clicks and impressions are summed, and average position is weighted by impressions. This is useful for non-overlapping periods with consistent filters. It also means repeated copies or overlapping reporting windows double-count their data; prepare the export before analysis.
Search Console query overlap analyzer · Marketing ↗Why is average position weighted?Search Console query overlap analyzer
A row with many impressions should contribute more than a row with very few when combining the same pair. The tool multiplies each position by that row’s impressions, sums the products and divides by combined impressions. Rounded source positions keep the combined value approximate.
Search Console query overlap analyzer · Marketing ↗Is impression share a share of unique searches?Search Console query overlap analyzer
No. It is a page’s impressions divided by the sum of supplied page-row impressions for that query. It is not a count of unique people or guaranteed sitewide exposure. Different reporting aggregation and incomplete exports can change what those totals represent.
Search Console query overlap analyzer · Marketing ↗Should I delete the page with lower CTR?Search Console query overlap analyzer
This report cannot support that decision alone. A lower-CTR page may serve a useful secondary intent or appear in different contexts. Review content, links, devices, countries, date trends and the actual search results before changing a page’s availability.
Search Console query overlap analyzer · Marketing ↗Why is an expected query missing?Search Console query overlap analyzer
It may have only one page with positive impressions, fall below your threshold, or be absent from the supplied export. Row limits, filtering and omitted query data also affect coverage. Lowering the threshold cannot restore rows that are not in your CSV.
Search Console query overlap analyzer · Marketing ↗What is a useful next action?Search Console query overlap analyzer
Choose a few high-exposure pairs and document what each page promises. Compare their headings, purpose, internal links and result presentation. Keep complementary pages when they meet distinct needs; test a specific targeting change when evidence supports it and monitor the same reporting setup afterward.
Search Console query overlap analyzer · Marketing ↗Does the organizer find new keywords?Keyword list organization and intent tagging
No. It processes only the list you paste. It does not contact a search engine, suggest related searches or retrieve search volume and difficulty. Bring keywords from your own research, customer language or first-party reporting.
Keyword list organization and intent tagging · Marketing ↗How is the primary intent chosen?Keyword list organization and intent tagging
Rules run in this order: navigational, transactional, commercial, informational, then utility. The first matching category becomes the primary tag unless you provide a manual override. All matching categories remain visible so that precedence does not hide a mixed phrase.
Keyword list organization and intent tagging · Marketing ↗Which modifiers are recognized?Keyword list organization and intent tagging
The rules include navigation phrases such as login, action words such as buy, comparison words such as best and versus, learning words such as how and guide, and tool names such as calculator and converter. They are simple English patterns, not an exhaustive vocabulary or semantic model.
Keyword list organization and intent tagging · Marketing ↗What does Unclassified mean?Keyword list organization and intent tagging
None of the configured English modifiers matched. The keyword may still have a clear intent to a person, especially a brand name, local phrase or specialist term. Add a manual override after checking context rather than treating it as useless.
Keyword list organization and intent tagging · Marketing ↗How do duplicate settings affect the result?Keyword list organization and intent tagging
Whitespace is normalized in both modes. With capitalization ignored, differently cased versions are consolidated; with it preserved, those spellings remain separate. Occurrences count how many supplied lines contributed to the retained keyword, not how often people search for it.
Keyword list organization and intent tagging · Marketing ↗Can I create my own intent labels?Keyword list organization and intent tagging
Yes. Override labels may contain 1–80 characters, so you can use planning categories appropriate to your business. The keyword must match under your chosen duplicate normalization. Duplicate override keys are rejected rather than silently replacing an earlier decision.
Keyword list organization and intent tagging · Marketing ↗Does this group keywords by topic?Keyword list organization and intent tagging
No. It groups the table by primary intent and alphabetizes within each group. It does not infer semantic topics or decide whether two phrases belong on the same page. Add topic clusters in your planning sheet after reading the reviewed terms together.
Keyword list organization and intent tagging · Marketing ↗How should I turn the download into a content plan?Keyword list organization and intent tagging
Add columns for the existing destination, intended user task and next action. Review overlapping phrases before commissioning a new page. A useful brief should explain what a reader can accomplish, which examples are needed and how the page connects to relevant tools.
Keyword list organization and intent tagging · Marketing ↗What does the checker require?Social campaign link QA checker
Its team QA convention expects non-empty utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign query parameters. This is a configurable workflow assumption expressed through the report, not a claim that every analytics platform requires the same fields for every campaign.
Social campaign link QA checker · Marketing ↗What happens when a parameter appears twice?Social campaign link QA checker
The URL is flagged even if both values are identical. The visible source, medium and campaign cells show the first parsed value, while the review message identifies repeated keys. Different systems can handle repeated parameters differently, so resolve the ambiguity before publishing.
Social campaign link QA checker · Marketing ↗Are uppercase UTM parameter names equivalent?Social campaign link QA checker
This checker expects standard lowercase parameter names and warns about differently capitalized versions. A URL containing UTM_Source does not satisfy its utm_source requirement. Keep both parameter keys and value conventions consistent with the analytics setup you actually use.
Social campaign link QA checker · Marketing ↗How are naming variants found?Social campaign link QA checker
For source, medium and campaign, the comparison trims values, ignores case and treats runs of spaces, underscores and hyphens as a common separator. Different original values with that same normalized form are flagged. This is a simple similarity rule, not campaign identity detection.
Social campaign link QA checker · Marketing ↗Does preserve naming disable every naming check?Social campaign link QA checker
It allows capitalization and spaces in tag values. The checker still reports leading or trailing whitespace, cross-list variants, missing fields, repeated parameters and encoding issues. Choosing preserved naming does not turn off structural QA.
Social campaign link QA checker · Marketing ↗What is malformed percent encoding?Social campaign link QA checker
A percent escape needs two hexadecimal characters. The checker also inspects whether encoded query bytes can be decoded as UTF-8. A URL can parse structurally while containing a questionable escape, so these warnings are listed separately from the invalid-URL count.
Social campaign link QA checker · Marketing ↗Will this follow redirects or test attribution?Social campaign link QA checker
No. URLs are inspected locally and never requested. The tool cannot check landing-page status, redirect tag preservation, consent behavior or recorded campaign attribution. Test the published journey in the relevant browser and analytics environment after resolving the report.
Social campaign link QA checker · Marketing ↗Can I copy corrected URLs from the result?Social campaign link QA checker
The report does not generate corrected links. It preserves your originals and shows reasons for review. Use the campaign builder to create deliberate replacements from approved names, then inspect them again. Avoid rewriting signed URLs without understanding their signature requirements.

Calendar days only. Does not adjust weekends, holidays or business deadlines. Results must remain within four-digit years; month arithmetic is not modeled.
Add or subtract days from a date · Utilities ↗How does this calculator calculate BMI?Adult BMI
It divides weight in kilograms by height in metres squared. US inputs are first converted using 0.45359237 kilograms per pound and 2.54 centimetres per inch. For the example, 70 divided by 1.75 squared is about 22.857.
Adult BMI · Health ↗What are the general adult screening bands?Adult BMI
They are below 18.5, 18.5 to below 25, 25 to below 30, and 30 or above. The results table also divides the last interval at 35 and 40. These general bands are reference classifications rather than an individual diagnosis.
Adult BMI · Health ↗Is the reference weight range inclusive?Adult BMI
The lower BMI 18.5 boundary is included; the BMI 25 boundary is excluded. Both weights on screen are rounded to two decimal places. Use the formula rather than treating a rounded endpoint as an exact threshold for a measurement.
Adult BMI · Health ↗Can someone aged 18 or 19 use it?Adult BMI
This page follows the NHS adult starting age of 18. CDC uses adult BMI from age 20 and child/teen percentiles through 19. The tool highlights this difference for those ages. Follow the age convention used by the professional assessing you.
Adult BMI · Health ↗Does a healthy weight band prove I am healthy?Adult BMI
No. BMI is a screening measure and cannot replace an assessment that considers history, examination and other health information. A numerical band cannot identify every concern or rule out illness.
Adult BMI · Health ↗Why does the tool not ask for sex or ethnic background?Adult BMI
Neither changes the arithmetic of weight divided by height squared. Interpretation is a separate question. This tool applies general reference bands and does not apply ethnicity-specific clinical thresholds; use appropriate clinical guidance for that context.
Adult BMI · Health ↗Why are there measurement limits?Adult BMI
The accepted ranges are 100–250 cm and 20–600 kg, with equivalent US units. They catch likely unit mistakes and bound this small calculator. An input outside those limits is not a medical classification and should not be altered merely to make the form accept it.
Adult BMI · Health ↗What should I do if the result concerns me?Adult BMI
Check units and measurements once, then discuss the result and your circumstances with a qualified healthcare professional. Avoid turning a screening interval into an unsupervised weight-change plan. Use a suitable professional assessment when this calculator’s exclusions apply.
Adult BMI · Health ↗What formula is used?BMR and energy
The simplified equation is 10 times weight in kg, plus 6.25 times height in cm, minus 5 times age, plus the selected coefficient. The male coefficient is +5 and the female coefficient is −161. The result is expressed in kcal per day.
BMR and energy · Health ↗Why does the result say REE when the page says BMR?BMR and energy
BMR is a familiar search term, but the original Mifflin–St Jeor paper predicts resting energy expenditure, or REE. The result uses that more precise label. A calculated resting prediction should not be presented as a directly measured basal metabolic rate.
BMR and energy · Health ↗What does the daily-energy multiplier mean here?BMR and energy
It scales the resting prediction into a whole-day scenario. NIDDK’s separate planner describes typical physical activity levels around 1.4–2.5. This tool does not implement that planner or infer a personal level; it simply multiplies by the value you enter.
BMR and energy · Health ↗Can I use the result as a weight-loss calorie target?BMR and energy
This calculator does not calculate a deficit, model changing weight or recommend intake. Subtracting a fixed amount would add a separate assumption unsupported by this tool. Seek appropriate professional guidance for a personal dietary plan.
BMR and energy · Health ↗Who was the original equation developed from?BMR and energy
The paper used 498 healthy participants aged 19–78. Those cohort details describe where the model came from, not a guarantee for every person with similar measurements. The tool rejects ages outside that range rather than silently extrapolating.
BMR and energy · Health ↗Why are there only two coefficient options?BMR and energy
Those are the two equations published in the original study. The calculator exposes that limitation instead of inventing another validated coefficient. It does not resolve which equation applies to every individual physiology or clinical situation.
BMR and energy · Health ↗Are the displayed decimals an accuracy claim?BMR and energy
No. One decimal place is a display choice. Input measurements, model error and the multiplier assumption can matter far more than that final digit. The tool calculates no individual confidence interval and makes no guarantee of closeness to a measured value.
BMR and energy · Health ↗What is the difference between kcal and kJ?BMR and energy
They are different energy units. This calculator uses 4.184 kilojoules per kilocalorie and shows the resting estimate in both units. Keep the per-day period consistent when comparing figures; changing units does not change the underlying predicted energy.
BMR and energy · Health ↗How is waist-to-height ratio calculated?Waist-to-height ratio
Divide waist circumference by height in the same units. For example, 85 cm divided by 170 cm equals 0.5. Dividing both measurements by 2.54 first gives the same ratio in inches because the conversion factor cancels.
Waist-to-height ratio · Health ↗Why does the calculator ask for BMI?Waist-to-height ratio
The NICE adult reference used here applies when BMI is below 35. The entered value gates that comparison; it is not part of the ratio formula. If you do not know it, use the related adult BMI calculator before continuing.
Waist-to-height ratio · Health ↗How should I take the waist measurement?Waist-to-height ratio
Find the midpoint between the bottom of the ribs and the top of the hips, wrap the tape around that level, and read it after breathing out naturally. Repeat an uncertain measurement consistently instead of using trouser size as circumference.
Waist-to-height ratio · Health ↗Does 0.5 mean below half my height?Waist-to-height ratio
No. Exactly 0.5 means equal to half. This calculator starts the next reference interval at 0.5 and another at 0.6. Display rounding can obscure a nearby value, so the label follows the full underlying division.
Waist-to-height ratio · Health ↗What happens at a ratio below 0.4?Waist-to-height ratio
The tool reports that it is below the guideline’s described reference interval. It does not extend the healthy label downward, diagnose underweight or suggest increasing waist size. Check the measurements and discuss their meaning in an appropriate clinical context.
Waist-to-height ratio · Health ↗What if my BMI is 35 or above?Waist-to-height ratio
The calculator still shows the division and half-height boundary but does not assign a NICE category. These outputs are arithmetic only outside the selected reference scope. Seek a suitable assessment rather than changing the BMI entry to obtain a label.
Waist-to-height ratio · Health ↗Is this body-fat percentage or a diagnosis?Waist-to-height ratio
No. A ratio of 0.57 does not mean 57% body fat. The tool measures relative circumference and provides a scoped screening comparison. It does not measure fat directly, calculate a personal risk percentage or diagnose any condition.
Waist-to-height ratio · Health ↗Should I track changes with this calculator?Waist-to-height ratio
If you and a healthcare professional choose to monitor the measurement, keep units, tape position and technique consistent and record dates separately. The calculator stores no measurement history. Small differences can reflect technique, so a single change should not automatically be treated as a clinical finding.
Waist-to-height ratio · Health ↗How does the length conversion work?Length converter
The tool expresses the source unit in meters, multiplies by the entered value, then divides by the destination unit’s meter factor. Metric prefixes and international inch-based definitions provide the factors. The same approach creates every row in the table.
Length converter · Utilities ↗Is an inch exactly 2.54 centimeters?Length converter
Yes, under the international inch definition used here. The corresponding international foot is 0.3048 meter and yard is 0.9144 meter. Exact definitions do not mean every decimal output or original measurement has unlimited numeric precision.
Length converter · Utilities ↗Does this support the old U.S. survey foot?Length converter
No. The foot option is explicitly the international foot. Historical survey documents can use a different foot definition. Check the original document’s basis rather than applying this converter to a legacy coordinate or cadastral measurement without that verification.
Length converter · Utilities ↗Can I enter feet and inches together?Length converter
The Value field accepts a single numeric quantity, not expressions such as 5 ft 8 in. Convert the inches to a fraction of a foot first, or enter the complete distance in inches and choose inches as the source.
Length converter · Utilities ↗What is the difference between a mile and a nautical mile?Length converter
The mile option uses 1,609.344 meters. A nautical mile uses 1,852 meters. They are separate choices because substituting one for the other changes the result. The converter does not infer a nautical unit from context or location.
Length converter · Utilities ↗Can lengths be zero or negative?Length converter
Zero is supported and produces zero in every unit. Negative lengths are rejected because this tool treats input as a length magnitude. It does not convert signed displacement coordinates or interpret direction along an axis.
Length converter · Utilities ↗Can I enter very small dimensions?Length converter
Yes, including micrometers or scientific notation such as 1e-6 meters. Supported nonzero inputs have magnitude at least 1e-100 and at most 1e100. Results may use scientific notation and display up to 12 significant digits.
Length converter · Utilities ↗Does the table calculate area or volume?Length converter
No. Every row describes the same linear length. Square and cubic unit factors are different. Use the area converter for a measured area or the volume converter for a volume instead of applying a length ratio directly.
Length converter · Utilities ↗How are mass values converted?Weight converter
The calculator multiplies the input by the source unit’s kilogram factor and divides by the destination factor. Metric units use decimal scaling. Avoirdupois units are related through the international pound, with an ounce equal to one-sixteenth of that pound.
Weight converter · Utilities ↗Does weight mean the same thing as mass here?Weight converter
The title uses everyday wording, but the calculation converts mass. Physical weight as force depends on gravitational acceleration and is expressed in force units. No gravity value is entered and no newtons or pounds-force are calculated.
Weight converter · Utilities ↗How many pounds are in a stone?Weight converter
The stone option is defined as 14 avoirdupois pounds. If a source says 10 stone 5 pounds, first enter 145 pounds or 10 + 5/14 stones. Decimal 10.5 stones instead means ten and a half stones.
Weight converter · Utilities ↗What distinguishes the three ton choices?Weight converter
A metric tonne is 1,000 kilograms. A US short ton is 2,000 avoirdupois pounds, and an Imperial long ton is 2,240 pounds. Their labels include the definition so no regional meaning is silently selected for an ambiguous ton.
Weight converter · Utilities ↗Can this convert grams into milliliters?Weight converter
No. Grams are mass and milliliters are volume. A particular material’s density is needed to relate them. Temperature, composition and packing can affect that density, so a unit conversion alone cannot supply a universal grams-to-volume result.
Weight converter · Utilities ↗Are ounces in this tool troy ounces?Weight converter
No. They are avoirdupois ounces of 0.028349523125 kilogram. The tool excludes troy units and fluid units. If the original quantity is stated only as oz, check its context and source rather than assuming all ounce definitions are equivalent.
Weight converter · Utilities ↗Can I convert zero or fractional masses?Weight converter
Zero and nonnegative decimal values are supported. Negative values are rejected. A fraction should be entered as its decimal equivalent, because the numeric field does not parse text fractions such as 1/2 or arithmetic expressions.
Weight converter · Utilities ↗How much precision does the result provide?Weight converter
Outputs show up to 12 significant digits using floating-point arithmetic. A fixed conversion factor does not improve the accuracy of a scale reading. Round a converted measurement according to the original measurement’s useful precision and your practical task.
Weight converter · Utilities ↗What is the Celsius-to-Fahrenheit formula?Temperature converter
Multiply Celsius by 9/5 and add 32. For the reverse direction, subtract 32 from Fahrenheit and multiply by 5/9. The offset aligns the scales’ zero points, while the multiplier accounts for the different degree sizes.
Temperature converter · Utilities ↗How do Celsius and Kelvin relate?Temperature converter
For an absolute temperature, Kelvin equals Celsius plus 273.15. Their interval sizes are equal, so a one-degree Celsius change is a one-kelvin change. The offset is needed for a reading, but not for a difference between readings.
Temperature converter · Utilities ↗What values are below absolute zero?Temperature converter
The tool rejects readings below 0 K, −273.15°C or −459.67°F, according to the selected source scale. Values exactly at those boundaries are accepted. A negative Celsius or Fahrenheit number alone is not necessarily below absolute zero.
Temperature converter · Utilities ↗Can Celsius and Fahrenheit have the same number?Temperature converter
They coincide at −40. Entering −40 in either of those scales produces −40 in the other. This is a consequence of the scale formulas, not evidence that the two scales are interchangeable at other temperatures.
Temperature converter · Utilities ↗Can this convert a temperature rise or drop?Temperature converter
The tool is designed for absolute temperature. For a difference, do not add 32 or 273.15: multiply a Celsius interval by 9/5 to get Fahrenheit, and treat Celsius and Kelvin intervals as equal. Keep readings and differences clearly labeled.
Temperature converter · Utilities ↗Does 100°C always mean boiling water?Temperature converter
The conversion of 100°C is 212°F regardless of context. Whether water boils at that reading depends on conditions such as pressure. The tool does not calculate phase changes or environmental conditions; it only converts the stated temperature.
Temperature converter · Utilities ↗Why does the result have many decimal places?Temperature converter
Outputs use up to 12 significant digits with floating-point arithmetic. Some inputs convert to repeating decimal values. Choose rounding consistent with the measuring instrument or specification rather than treating every displayed digit as physically measured accuracy.
Temperature converter · Utilities ↗Can the converter adjust an oven or thermostat?Temperature converter
It can supply the equivalent number, but it does not communicate with equipment or evaluate its calibration. Confirm the device’s scale, available increments and operating instructions before entering a converted setpoint.
Temperature converter · Utilities ↗How is an area value converted?Area converter
The source value is multiplied by its square-meter factor, then divided by the destination factor. Square-unit factors come from squared length definitions. Hectares and international acres have their own explicit square-meter factors in the same calculation.
Area converter · Utilities ↗How many square centimeters are in a square meter?Area converter
There are 10,000, because one meter contains 100 centimeters along each dimension. A square one meter by one meter is 100 centimeters by 100 centimeters. This squared relationship is why a length conversion factor cannot be reused directly.
Area converter · Utilities ↗What definition of acre is used?Area converter
One international acre is 43,560 square international feet, equivalent to 4046.8564224 square meters. The converter excludes the older U.S. survey-acre definition. Confirm the basis of historical land records rather than assuming the unit name alone establishes it.
Area converter · Utilities ↗How does a hectare compare with a square kilometer?Area converter
A hectare is 10,000 square meters, while a square kilometer is 1,000,000 square meters. Therefore 100 hectares equal one square kilometer. Hectares are area units and should not be confused with a linear length or a volume.
Area converter · Utilities ↗Can I calculate a room’s area here?Area converter
The tool accepts an area value only. For a rectangle, calculate length times width in compatible units before entry. Irregular shapes, wall openings and other adjustments need their own area calculation; the converter does not infer those from a total.
Area converter · Utilities ↗Does the result include material waste?Area converter
No. Conversion preserves the measured area without adding waste, overlaps or spare material. If planning paint, flooring or another material, apply the product’s coverage and your chosen allowance separately after confirming the area’s unit basis.
Area converter · Utilities ↗Can this convert a map into a land area?Area converter
No. It does not read maps, coordinates or projections. A land area calculated elsewhere can be converted here, but projection distortion and the distinction between planar and surface area are outside this numeric unit-conversion tool.
Area converter · Utilities ↗What precision and inputs are supported?Area converter
Enter a nonnegative decimal or scientific-notation area without symbols. Zero is valid. Outputs display up to 12 significant digits with floating-point arithmetic, so their detail should not be mistaken for additional surveying or measurement accuracy.
Area converter · Utilities ↗What gallon definitions does the tool use?Volume converter
US liquid gallon is 3.785411784 liters and Imperial gallon is 4.54609 liters. US dry measures are excluded. Select the definition from your source rather than assuming a country name or an unlabeled gal abbreviation is enough.
Volume converter · Utilities ↗What do the three cup options mean?Volume converter
US customary cup is 8 US fluid ounces, or 236.5882365 mL. Metric cup is explicitly the 250 mL convention. Imperial cup is explicitly the 10 Imperial fluid ounce convention, or 284.130625 mL; recipe-specific alternatives are not inferred.
Volume converter · Utilities ↗Is the US cup a 240 mL labeling cup?Volume converter
No. The option is the US customary 8-fluid-ounce cup. A 240 mL cup used in some labeling contexts is excluded. If a recipe states its own cup volume, use that stated milliliter amount instead of assuming it matches a listed convention.
Volume converter · Utilities ↗How do cubic units convert to liters?Volume converter
A cubic-meter volume contains 1,000 liters. Cubic inch and foot factors use the cube of their international meter length definitions, then express the result in liters. Cube the length factor rather than applying it once or twice.
Volume converter · Utilities ↗Are milliliters and cubic centimeters equal?Volume converter
Yes, the tool treats one milliliter as one cubic centimeter. They describe the same volume with different unit names. That equivalence does not imply one gram of every substance occupies one milliliter; mass still depends on density.
Volume converter · Utilities ↗Can this convert fluid ounces to ordinary ounces?Volume converter
No. Fluid ounces describe volume, while avoirdupois ounces describe mass. The US and Imperial fluid ounce options also differ from each other. Use a mass converter for known mass values and a density-based calculation when relating the two quantities.
Volume converter · Utilities ↗Does the calculator account for temperature or packing?Volume converter
It applies fixed unit relationships to the volume entered. It does not predict expansion, density changes or how tightly a dry ingredient is packed. Those factors affect the measured quantity itself, rather than the arithmetic of changing its volume unit.
Volume converter · Utilities ↗How should I enter a fractional quantity?Volume converter
Use a decimal, such as 0.5 for half a selected cup. The input does not parse text fractions or expressions. Nonnegative values and scientific notation are supported; outputs display up to 12 significant digits using floating-point arithmetic.
Volume converter · Utilities ↗How is a speed converted?Speed converter
The source unit is expressed in meters per second, multiplied by the input value, then divided by the destination’s meters-per-second factor. This accounts for distance and time together rather than applying only a length conversion.
Speed converter · Utilities ↗How many km/h are in one m/s?Speed converter
One meter per second equals 3.6 kilometers per hour. Over 3,600 seconds, one meter each second gives 3,600 meters, or 3.6 kilometers. The same factor can be reversed by dividing km/h by 3.6.
Speed converter · Utilities ↗What is a knot?Speed converter
A knot is one nautical mile per hour. The converter uses a nautical mile of 1,852 meters, so one knot equals 1.852 km/h. It is a speed unit, while a nautical mile by itself is a distance unit.
Speed converter · Utilities ↗Can I convert running pace here?Speed converter
The supported inputs are distance per time, not time per distance. A pace such as five minutes per kilometer needs a reciprocal calculation before it becomes a speed. Do not enter the pace number into a speed field and expect the same meaning.
Speed converter · Utilities ↗Why is Mach number absent?Speed converter
Mach relates speed to the local speed of sound, which depends on conditions. A fixed unit multiplier cannot universally convert it. The converter therefore excludes Mach instead of choosing an unstated temperature or atmospheric assumption.
Speed converter · Utilities ↗Can speed be negative?Speed converter
This tool treats speed as a magnitude, so negative values are rejected and zero is accepted. A signed component of velocity can represent direction, but the converter does not know an axis or vector reference and does not interpret directional motion.
Speed converter · Utilities ↗Can I use the result to calculate travel time?Speed converter
You can use the converted speed as one input to a separate distance-divided-by-speed calculation, provided speed is an appropriate average. Stops, changing speed, routes and conditions are not modeled here. Keep the distance and time units consistent in that next calculation.
Speed converter · Utilities ↗Why should I avoid rounding early?Speed converter
Rounding the source before converting can add an unnecessary difference, especially if the converted value is reused. Enter the original available reading and round the final result for your purpose. The converter displays up to 12 significant digits but cannot improve the original measurement.
Speed converter · Utilities ↗How does a duration conversion work?Time converter
The input is multiplied by the source unit’s number of seconds and divided by the target unit’s number of seconds. Decimal subsecond units use their SI prefixes. No start date, time zone or calendar boundary is involved.
Time converter · Utilities ↗How do I interpret decimal hours?Time converter
The fractional part is multiplied by 60 to obtain minutes. For example, 2.75 hours means two hours and 45 minutes. Enter decimal numbers directly; the tool does not parse a colon-separated clock notation or convert it automatically.
Time converter · Utilities ↗Why are months and years not supported?Time converter
Their calendar lengths vary, and choosing one fixed value would conceal an assumption. If you need elapsed time between specific dates, use a date-based calculation. This converter stays with units that have an explicit fixed duration.
Time converter · Utilities ↗Does a day always mean 24 hours here?Time converter
Yes. The Fixed 24-hour days option is exactly 86,400 seconds. A local civil day or an interval across a clock change may follow different calendar rules. The result should therefore be read as fixed elapsed time, not date arithmetic.
Time converter · Utilities ↗What is the difference between milliseconds and microseconds?Time converter
A millisecond is one-thousandth of a second and a microsecond is one-millionth. Therefore one millisecond contains 1,000 microseconds. Selecting the correct prefix matters when comparing timing logs, because the same number represents very different durations.
Time converter · Utilities ↗Can I enter a negative duration?Time converter
No. The converter treats input as a nonnegative elapsed-time amount. Zero is valid. A signed offset such as minus two hours from a timestamp needs date or timestamp arithmetic rather than a magnitude-only duration conversion.
Time converter · Utilities ↗Can the converter add time to a date?Time converter
It converts an amount but has no date field. It does not add days to a calendar, choose business days or account for weekends. Use a suitable date tool for those tasks and keep any fixed-duration assumption explicit.
Time converter · Utilities ↗Are very small timing values exact?Time converter
The units have defined relationships, but the calculation uses floating-point numbers and a display of up to 12 significant digits. Conversion does not remove timer jitter or measurement uncertainty. Retain the original timing resolution when interpreting the converted result.
Time converter · Utilities ↗What is the difference between decimal and binary prefixes?Data size converter
Decimal byte prefixes use powers of 1,000, while binary prefixes use powers of 1,024. For example, kB is 1,000 bytes and KiB is 1,024 bytes. The labels remain separate so the chosen convention is visible in the result.
Data size converter · Utilities ↗How many bits are in a byte?Data size converter
The converter uses an eight-bit byte, so one byte equals eight bits. It converts size quantities with that fixed relationship. Historical machine word sizes and architecture-specific units are not included, and words should not be assumed to equal bytes.
Data size converter · Utilities ↗Why is one GB less than one GiB?Data size converter
A decimal GB is one billion bytes, while a binary GiB is 1,073,741,824 bytes. Expressing the same billion bytes in a larger unit produces a number below one. This difference is a unit convention rather than a loss or compression effect.
Data size converter · Utilities ↗Does this inspect the size of my file?Data size converter
No. There is no file field, and the converter does not access your filesystem. Enter a size reported by your device or service and choose its definition. The image compression tool is a separate tool for generating a smaller image file.
Data size converter · Utilities ↗Can I use this to calculate download time?Data size converter
It can convert a known size, but it does not model transfer speed or time. A rate such as megabits per second is size per duration, not a size alone. Network overhead and changing throughput also require separate assumptions.
Data size converter · Utilities ↗Are fractional bytes or bits allowed?Data size converter
Fractional numeric values are allowed as arithmetic equivalents. They should not be interpreted as a physically stored fraction of a bit. This is useful when comparing unit scales, while actual file storage and allocation may require whole-unit accounting.
Data size converter · Utilities ↗How should I handle an ambiguous KB label?Data size converter
Check the source’s definition. This tool uses kB for the decimal definition and KiB for the binary definition. It cannot infer what a different application means by KB, so choose only after confirming whether that source counts 1,000 or 1,024 bytes.
Data size converter · Utilities ↗Are very large byte counts exact?Data size converter
The calculation uses floating-point arithmetic and displays up to 12 significant digits. Large integer counts can lose exact single-byte precision. Use an exact integer-based accounting method if every byte must reconcile, and use this converter for understandable unit comparisons.
Data size converter · Utilities ↗How do degrees convert to radians?Angle converter
Multiply degrees by π/180. The inverse multiplies radians by 180/π. The calculator uses a floating-point representation of π, so values such as π radians appear as a decimal approximation rather than an exact symbolic expression.
Angle converter · Utilities ↗How many gradians are in a turn?Angle converter
A full turn contains 400 gradians, compared with 360 degrees. One gradian therefore equals 0.9 degree. This is the gon-based option in the unit list, which should not be confused with a radian or an angular minute.
Angle converter · Utilities ↗What are arcminutes and arcseconds?Angle converter
One degree contains 60 arcminutes and 3,600 arcseconds. An arcsecond is one-sixtieth of an arcminute. These are angular subdivisions; their familiar minute and second names do not make them interchangeable with elapsed-time units.
Angle converter · Utilities ↗Can I enter a negative angle?Angle converter
Yes. The converter preserves its sign, so −90 degrees becomes −0.25 turns. It does not choose a physical direction or coordinate convention for you. Keep the meaning of positive and negative rotation consistent in the system using the result.
Angle converter · Utilities ↗Does the tool normalize angles into 0 to 360 degrees?Angle converter
No. It converts the supplied magnitude without wrapping. A 450-degree angle becomes 1.25 turns rather than 90 degrees. Normalizing can be useful for orientation, but would remove accumulated-rotation information, so it is not performed automatically.
Angle converter · Utilities ↗Can I enter degrees, minutes and seconds together?Angle converter
The Value field accepts one decimal number, not a compound notation. Convert the parts to decimal degrees separately, such as degrees plus minutes/60 plus seconds/3600. For negative compound values, apply the intended sign consistently to the complete angle.
Angle converter · Utilities ↗Can this convert compass bearings or map coordinates?Angle converter
It can change the unit of a known angular value, but it does not interpret north references, magnetic variation, latitude, longitude or coordinate systems. A bearing’s reference and direction convention must be supplied by the original context, outside this unit conversion.
Angle converter · Utilities ↗How precise are the converted radians?Angle converter
Results display up to 12 significant digits using floating-point arithmetic. Irrational π-based results cannot be completely written as finite decimals. Use symbolic mathematics or an appropriate precision method if the next calculation needs more than the displayed approximation.
Angle converter · Utilities ↗How are pressure units converted?Pressure converter
The input is multiplied by its source unit’s pascal factor and divided by the target factor. This is a proportional conversion. No atmospheric offset, temperature assumption or change of gauge, absolute or differential reference is part of the calculation.
Pressure converter · Utilities ↗Can this convert gauge pressure to absolute pressure?Pressure converter
No. That task needs the appropriate reference pressure in addition to the reading. The converter preserves the basis of the supplied value, so gauge units remain gauge units. It cannot infer local atmospheric pressure or establish the original instrument’s reference.
Pressure converter · Utilities ↗What does the standard atmosphere option mean?Pressure converter
It is the defined unit atm, equal to 101,325 pascals. It is not a live measurement of air pressure at your location. Weather and altitude are not inputs, and the converter does not estimate their effect on an actual ambient reading.
Pressure converter · Utilities ↗Are millibars and hectopascals equivalent?Pressure converter
Yes. Each is 100 pascals, so their numerical values match for the same pressure and reference. The different names arise from the unit and prefix convention; no offset is involved when converting mbar to hPa.
Pressure converter · Utilities ↗What definition of psi is used?Pressure converter
Psi means pounds-force per square inch. The factor uses the international avoirdupois pound, standard gravity and the international inch. It does not turn mass pounds into a local weight measurement or use a location-specific gravitational acceleration.
Pressure converter · Utilities ↗Are torr and millimeters of mercury identical here?Pressure converter
The listed Torr option means one-seven-hundred-sixtieth of a standard atmosphere. There is no millimeter-of-mercury option. Do not relabel an arbitrary mercury-column reading as torr without checking the measurement convention and precision needed by your source.
Pressure converter · Utilities ↗Why are negative values accepted?Pressure converter
A pressure difference or a gauge value can be signed relative to a reference. The tool preserves that sign during unit conversion. Accepting a negative number does not establish that a negative absolute pressure is physically meaningful or validate an instrument reading.
Pressure converter · Utilities ↗Can I use the result as an equipment setting?Pressure converter
Confirm the equipment’s unit, pressure reference, operating range and instructions before using a number. The converter provides arithmetic equivalents only and does not check equipment suitability or calibrate a gauge. Output precision should reflect the original specification or measurement.
Pressure converter · Utilities ↗How is an energy quantity converted?Energy converter
The source value is multiplied by its joule factor and divided by the target unit’s joule factor. Each table row represents the same energy amount. The calculation does not introduce a time period, process efficiency or tariff.
Energy converter · Utilities ↗What is the difference between watts and watt-hours?Energy converter
A watt is a joule per second, so it measures power. A watt-hour is the energy transferred by one watt over an hour and equals 3,600 joules. Converting a power rating to energy also requires its operating duration.
Energy converter · Utilities ↗How many joules are in a kilowatt-hour?Energy converter
One kilowatt-hour equals 3,600,000 joules, or 3.6 megajoules. The factor combines 1,000 watts per kilowatt and 3,600 seconds per hour. It expresses energy and should not be abbreviated as a kilowatt power value.
Energy converter · Utilities ↗Why are two calorie definitions listed?Energy converter
A thermochemical calorie is 4.184 joules, while an International Table calorie is 4.1868 joules. The source’s definition matters for a precise conversion. Temperature-specific calorie variants are not included, and the converter does not guess which convention an unlabeled source intended.
Energy converter · Utilities ↗Does a food Calorie mean one small calorie?Energy converter
Food-energy wording commonly refers to a kilocalorie, which is 1,000 small calories under the chosen definition. This tool labels kilocalories explicitly and lets you choose the definition. It does not inspect nutrition labels or provide dietary advice.
Energy converter · Utilities ↗Which BTU definition does the converter use?Energy converter
The listed option is the International Table BTU, with a factor of 1,055.05585262 joules. Other BTU conventions are excluded. Check the definition in an engineering source before selecting it, especially when reconciling values quoted with high precision.
Energy converter · Utilities ↗Why can I enter negative energy?Energy converter
A signed quantity can describe an energy change relative to a convention, such as energy leaving a system. The converter preserves the sign. It does not imply negative fuel content or choose the sign convention for heat, work or another physical process.
Energy converter · Utilities ↗Can this estimate an electricity bill or appliance consumption?Energy converter
It converts energy already known. Estimating consumption requires actual power over time, and estimating a bill also requires tariffs and any relevant charges. Neither operating behavior nor prices are inputs here, so the result alone cannot supply those estimates.
Energy converter · Utilities ↗How are km/L and L/100 km related?Fuel economy converter
L/100 km equals 100 divided by km/L. The reverse uses the same reciprocal formula. A value of 20 km/L therefore equals 5 L/100 km. Multiplying by one fixed scale factor would not correctly convert this reciprocal pair.
Fuel economy converter · Utilities ↗How is US mpg converted to L/100 km?Fuel economy converter
Divide the constant 100 × 3.785411784 ÷ 1.609344 by US mpg. Those values represent liters per US liquid gallon and kilometers per international mile. The result uses the factors before display rounding rather than a heavily rounded conversion shortcut.
Fuel economy converter · Utilities ↗What changes for Imperial mpg?Fuel economy converter
The gallon factor becomes 4.54609 liters instead of the US liquid gallon’s 3.785411784 liters. For the same physical fuel economy, the numerical Imperial mpg is larger. An unlabeled mpg value cannot safely be converted without determining its gallon convention.
Fuel economy converter · Utilities ↗Why are zero and negative inputs rejected?Fuel economy converter
A zero distance-per-fuel value would require division by zero to express reciprocal consumption. A zero consumption value similarly cannot produce a finite economy value. Negative values do not represent the positive fuel-use quantities modeled by this converter.
Fuel economy converter · Utilities ↗Does a 10% mpg increase mean a 10% consumption reduction?Fuel economy converter
No. Reciprocal measures change by different percentages. For example, increasing economy from 20 to 22 km/L changes consumption from 5 to about 4.545 L/100 km, a reduction of about 9.09%. Convert the before and after values separately.
Fuel economy converter · Utilities ↗Can I calculate economy from distance and fuel used here?Fuel economy converter
The tool accepts a previously calculated economy or consumption figure, not separate trip inputs. Calculate distance divided by fuel for km/L, or fuel divided by distance times 100 for L/100 km, using compatible units before converting that result.
Fuel economy converter · Utilities ↗Can I average several mpg values before converting?Fuel economy converter
A simple average can be misleading when trips differ in distance or fuel use. Combine actual total distance and total fuel to calculate the aggregate economy, then convert it. This tool does not infer trip weights or aggregate several readings.
Fuel economy converter · Utilities ↗Does the result estimate fuel costs or electric-vehicle use?Fuel economy converter
No. Fuel price, trip length and energy-per-distance units are not inputs. The result only changes the reporting unit of a fuel economy quantity. It does not predict consumption under your route, speed, load, weather or charging conditions.
Fuel economy converter · Utilities ↗How is this different from CSV repair?CSV column mapper
CSV repair changes delimiter and quoting conventions. This tool selects, renames and reorders complete columns, with constant columns and required-value reporting.
CSV column mapper · Utilities ↗Can I preserve leading zeroes?CSV column mapper
Yes. Values remain strings. In a spreadsheet, import identifier columns as text too; the receiving application can still remove zeroes if it guesses a number type.
CSV column mapper · Utilities ↗What if the source has no header?CSV column mapper
Choose No for the header setting and reference Column 1, Column 2 and so on in your mapping. The first record then remains data.
CSV column mapper · Utilities ↗Can destination names contain commas?CSV column mapper
Yes, quote that mapping cell using CSV quoting. Embedded quotation marks must be doubled. The destination name remains one column.
CSV column mapper · Utilities ↗What counts as a missing required value?CSV column mapper
A cell that is empty after trimming for the check is reported. Its original whitespace is preserved in the output; the checker does not rewrite it.
CSV column mapper · Utilities ↗Why are my exported cells prefixed with apostrophes?CSV column mapper
Formula protection is enabled by default for spreadsheet review. It changes suspicious exported text, including negative-number-looking strings. The preview retains original values.
CSV column mapper · Utilities ↗Which input limits apply?CSV column mapper
Each source is limited to 2 MB, 10,000 data records and 200 columns. Output beyond the shared 8 MB export bound is rejected rather than allocated without limit.
CSV column mapper · Utilities ↗Will the result import into Shopify or another service?CSV column mapper
You supply the receiving schema. This does not validate platform-specific product rules, types or changing templates; test a small import in the actual destination.
CSV column mapper · Utilities ↗What is current in this worksheet?Invoice aging
An invoice due today or later is current. Past-due days are clamped at zero for those dates; overdue buckets begin at one day.
Invoice aging · Business ↗Where does an invoice 31 days overdue go?Invoice aging
Into 31–60, once. Boundaries are 1–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 91 or more calendar days.
Invoice aging · Business ↗Are weekends excluded?Invoice aging
No. These are calendar days, not business days. Contractual grace periods, local holidays and collection policies are not modeled.
Invoice aging · Business ↗Can I use balances from today with last month’s date?Invoice aging
That would not reconstruct last month’s receivables. Use a historical balance snapshot exported for the same date or obtain the correct report from your accounting system.
Invoice aging · Business ↗What happens to multiple currencies?Invoice aging
They receive separate totals and customer groups. No rate is fetched and no exchange conversion is performed. Blank currency cells are rejected when a currency column is selected.
Invoice aging · Business ↗How are credits and zero balances handled?Invoice aging
Negative credit balances are rejected for separate review. Zero balances remain in the invoice detail, but add zero to the relevant bucket.
Invoice aging · Business ↗Can invoice IDs repeat?Invoice aging
Not within the same currency group. Repeated IDs can double-count a balance, so resolve duplicates first. The same literal ID in a different currency is a separate identity.
Invoice aging · Business ↗Is this a collection or bad-debt recommendation?Invoice aging
No. It organizes supplied balances and dates. It does not assess creditworthiness, accrue interest, issue legal notices or forecast when cash will arrive.
Invoice aging · Business ↗What is the difference between left and inner joins?CSV key join
Left retains all left records and fills unmatched lookup columns with empty strings. Inner retains only left records with a matching lookup key.
CSV key join · Utilities ↗Can the same left key appear twice?CSV key join
Yes. Each left record remains a separate row and receives the same unique lookup record. Lookup-side duplicates are rejected.
CSV key join · Utilities ↗Are 001 and 1 treated as equal?CSV key join
No. Keys remain strings. Even trimmed or case-insensitive comparison does not perform numeric conversion.
CSV key join · Utilities ↗Will blank keys match other blanks?CSV key join
No. Blank lookup keys are rejected, and blank left keys are unmatched. Trimming mode also treats whitespace-only left keys as blank.
CSV key join · Utilities ↗Can I ignore case or whitespace?CSV key join
Choose the explicit comparison mode. It affects matching keys, not exported source values. Review whether that normalization is appropriate for your identifiers.
CSV key join · Utilities ↗What happens to duplicate column names across files?CSV key join
Source prefixes keep them distinct, such as left.Product and right.Product. Duplicate headers within either single input are rejected.
CSV key join · Utilities ↗Can this do fuzzy or many-to-many matching?CSV key join
No. V1 requires unique lookup keys and produces at most one output row per left record. It avoids ambiguous matches and uncontrolled expansions.
CSV key join · Utilities ↗How large can the result be?CSV key join
Each input is capped at 2 MB, 10,000 rows and 200 columns. The exported CSV is bounded at 8 MB, including repeated lookup content.
CSV key join · Utilities ↗How is the threshold calculated?Inventory reorder point
Multiply average daily demand by lead days, add the selected safety-stock units and round upward to a whole unit.
Inventory reorder point · Business ↗Why round upward?Inventory reorder point
The output is a whole-unit threshold. A small fractional requirement is rounded to the next whole unit rather than understating the modeled quantity.
Inventory reorder point · Business ↗What is available stock?Inventory reorder point
On-hand stock minus reservations. This does not include purchase orders, transfers or stock at another warehouse.
Inventory reorder point · Business ↗What does at or below mean?Inventory reorder point
The current available count is no greater than the threshold. The tool identifies that relationship; it does not submit a purchase order.
Inventory reorder point · Business ↗What happens with zero demand?Inventory reorder point
The threshold can still include your buffer, but time-to-threshold is unavailable. There is no division by zero or operational claim of infinite runway.
Inventory reorder point · Business ↗Are lead days business days?Inventory reorder point
Use your own consistent replenishment-day assumption. The calculator does not inspect supplier calendars, weekends, holidays or transport schedules.
Inventory reorder point · Business ↗Does this calculate safety stock statistically?Inventory reorder point
No. You choose a buffer. Variable demand distributions, service levels and seasonal forecasts are outside this scenario.
Inventory reorder point · Business ↗How is this different from inventory turnover?Inventory reorder point
Turnover describes a historical period’s inventory use. This compares stock with a prospective lead-time demand and buffer assumption.
Inventory reorder point · Business ↗Which color formats are supported?Text contrast
Opaque three- or six-digit sRGB hex with a leading #. Short values are expanded. Alpha, named colors, gradients and wide-gamut values are not accepted.
Text contrast · Creators ↗What is normal-text AA?Text contrast
For the supplied pair, the minimum tested ratio is 4.5:1. Review the criterion’s exceptions and actual rendered text context separately.
Text contrast · Creators ↗What qualifies as large text?Text contrast
At least 18 points, equivalent to 24 CSS pixels, or bold at least 14 points, about 18.67 CSS pixels. A label in this tool does not change your rendered text.
Text contrast · Creators ↗Why can 4.5 displayed near a boundary still fail?Text contrast
The classification uses the unrounded ratio. A value just below 4.5 does not meet that threshold even if a short display rounds upward.
Text contrast · Creators ↗What are the AAA thresholds?Text contrast
The displayed checks use 7:1 for normal text and 4.5:1 for large text. These are color-pair results, not an overall conformance assessment.
Text contrast · Creators ↗Does reversing foreground and background change the ratio?Text contrast
No. The ratio compares lighter and darker luminance symmetrically. The visual effect and reading context can still differ.
Text contrast · Creators ↗Can it test buttons, icons or focus indicators?Text contrast
This tool explains text contrast. Non-text criteria and interaction states require their own review rather than a blanket conclusion from these text results.
Text contrast · Creators ↗Does a passing result mean the website is accessible?Text contrast
No. Content, keyboard access, structure, labels, focus, motion and many other requirements are not inspected by a two-color calculation.
Text contrast · Creators ↗How are decimal amounts compared?Amount reconciliation
They are parsed into integer cents and subtracted exactly. Up to two fractional digits are accepted, without symbols, grouping separators or exponent notation.
Amount reconciliation · Business ↗Does tolerance include its boundary?Amount reconciliation
Yes. An absolute difference equal to the entered tolerance is classified within tolerance. The numeric difference remains in the detail.
Amount reconciliation · Business ↗What is the sign of the difference?Amount reconciliation
Left minus right. A positive result means the supplied left amount is higher; negative refunds keep their signs.
Amount reconciliation · Business ↗Are totals changed by tolerance?Amount reconciliation
No. Totals use original supplied amounts. Tolerance changes only the classification of records present on both sides.
Amount reconciliation · Business ↗Can duplicate keys be aggregated?Amount reconciliation
Not in v1. Each side needs unique keys. Choose and document an aggregation rule outside the tool before providing such an export.
Amount reconciliation · Business ↗How are unmatched records represented?Amount reconciliation
The absent-side amount is blank, while its contribution to the overall arithmetic is zero. Separate category exports retain the record and signed difference.
Amount reconciliation · Business ↗Why do negative numbers get apostrophes in CSV?Amount reconciliation
Spreadsheet-oriented exports prefix formula-like text. The prefix is part of exported text, not a changed arithmetic amount; import and review the output deliberately.
Amount reconciliation · Business ↗Does a match prove my books are reconciled?Amount reconciliation
No. It only compares the supplied keys and amounts. Completeness, accounting classification, settlement timing and reconciliation policy remain separate checks.
Amount reconciliation · Business ↗Which caption subset is supported?Subtitle timing
Numeric-indexed basic SRT and plain WebVTT cues with optional identifiers. WebVTT NOTE, STYLE, REGION and cue settings, plus angle-bracket markup, are rejected.
Subtitle timing · Creators ↗What is the shift unit?Subtitle timing
Whole milliseconds. +750 adds three quarters of a second; −750 subtracts it from each cue start and end.
Subtitle timing · Creators ↗What happens if a start becomes negative?Subtitle timing
The conversion stops with a shift error. No automatic clamping or cue deletion is performed. Choose another offset or edit the source explicitly.
Subtitle timing · Creators ↗Are cue durations preserved?Subtitle timing
Yes. The same offset applies to both boundaries. The source must already end after it starts.
Subtitle timing · Creators ↗Does an overlap fail conversion?Subtitle timing
No. Adjacent overlaps are counted for review. Out-of-order starts or nonpositive durations are errors.
Subtitle timing · Creators ↗Are identifiers preserved?Subtitle timing
SRT output regenerates numeric indexes. WebVTT output omits cue identifiers. Plain cue text and supported timing are retained.
Subtitle timing · Creators ↗Can this find the right offset from a video?Subtitle timing
No. Supply a known offset and play the output against the media. There is no video upload, speech analysis or automatic alignment.
Subtitle timing · Creators ↗Which limits and encodings apply?Subtitle timing
One UTF-8 input, up to 2 MB and 5,000 cues. Uploaded text takes priority. Shift magnitude is capped at one day; timestamps require three millisecond digits.
Subtitle timing · Creators ↗What does UTC mode accept?Calendar event file
An explicit UTC timestamp with seconds and Z, such as 2026-10-15T14:00:00Z. Named zones and offset timestamps are outside this version.
Calendar event file · Marketing ↗How do I create a one-day all-day event?Calendar event file
Use its date as start and the following date as exclusive end. A start of 2026-10-15 and end of 2026-10-16 describes one all-day date.
Calendar event file · Marketing ↗Why is the end exclusive?Calendar event file
That is the iCalendar end boundary convention used here. A multi-day event includes dates before the end, rather than adding the end date itself.
Calendar event file · Marketing ↗Are special characters safe in the file?Calendar event file
Commas, semicolons, backslashes and newlines are escaped as text. Long content lines are folded without splitting UTF-8 characters.
Calendar event file · Marketing ↗What are UID and DTSTAMP?Calendar event file
UID identifies this generated event; DTSTAMP records generation time. A new generation has a new UID, so repeated imports may create separate events.
Calendar event file · Marketing ↗Can I send invitations or collect RSVPs?Calendar event file
No. This creates a file only. It has no attendee tracking, email sending, invitation delivery or account connection.
Calendar event file · Marketing ↗Can it create recurring events or reminders?Calendar event file
Not in this version. It exports one non-recurring event without recurrence rules or alarms.
Calendar event file · Marketing ↗Is every calendar client guaranteed to import it correctly?Calendar event file
No blanket compatibility claim is made. Test independently in the client you will use, including its timezone display and all-day span.
Calendar event file · Marketing ↗Does the tool send an unsubscribe request?Unsubscribe headers
No. It parses supplied text locally, without fetching URIs or submitting POST requests.
Unsubscribe headers · Email ↗What marker is checked?Unsubscribe headers
A single List-Unsubscribe-Post field whose trimmed value is exactly List-Unsubscribe=One-Click. Missing, repeated or different values are flagged.
Unsubscribe headers · Email ↗Can the URI list contain mailto too?Unsubscribe headers
Yes, a bracketed list can include other URIs. The one-click observation still requires at least one supported HTTPS URI.
Unsubscribe headers · Email ↗What does declared DKIM coverage mean?Unsubscribe headers
One DKIM-Signature h= list names both list-unsubscribe and list-unsubscribe-post. This is a declaration, not proof that a signature validates.
Unsubscribe headers · Email ↗Can two signatures each cover one header?Unsubscribe headers
That does not satisfy this declared-coverage check. Both names must occur in the same signature’s h= list.
Unsubscribe headers · Email ↗Why do duplicate fields need review?Unsubscribe headers
Their meaning can be ambiguous and differ across parsers. The checker requires one unsubscribe field and one POST marker rather than selecting a convenient duplicate.
Unsubscribe headers · Email ↗Will it prove Gmail compliance or show the mailbox button?Unsubscribe headers
No. Sender scope, valid signatures, real endpoint behavior and provider policy must be checked separately. This is a bounded structural checklist.
Unsubscribe headers · Email ↗What is in the template download?Unsubscribe headers
Placeholder HTTPS domain/token fields and the one-click marker. Replace them through your sending system; the template does not create an endpoint or DKIM signature.
Unsubscribe headers · Email ↗Which reports does this accept?TLS report reader
Supported uncompressed RFC 8460-shaped JSON with organization-name, report-id, date-range, policy metadata and session summaries. It does not read DMARC XML or gzip.
TLS report reader · Email ↗What does failure share divide by?TLS report reader
Failed sessions divided by successful plus failed sessions for that policy. Counts from different policies are not substituted into its denominator.
TLS report reader · Email ↗What if a policy has zero sessions?TLS report reader
Its share is unavailable, not 0% or a passing result. The zero counts remain visible.
TLS report reader · Email ↗Can the counts be fractional or negative?TLS report reader
No. Nonnegative safe integers are required. Unsafe aggregate sums are rejected rather than losing exact count precision.
TLS report reader · Email ↗Are mismatched detail totals repaired?TLS report reader
No. They are flagged without changing the policy summary or reported detail counts. Investigate incomplete or overlapping observations with their reporting context.
TLS report reader · Email ↗What happens to unknown result types?TLS report reader
They are retained literally in the detail export. The reader does not invent an explanation or treat an unfamiliar label as a known certificate error.
TLS report reader · Email ↗Does it test SMTP or authenticate the report?TLS report reader
No. There are no SMTP connections, DNS changes, geolocation requests or authenticity guarantees. It only summarizes supplied JSON.
TLS report reader · Email ↗What limits apply?TLS report reader
One UTF-8 source below 2 MB, at most 1,000 policies and 10,000 failure-detail records. Decompress reports yourself before selecting the file.
TLS report reader · Email ↗No answers match. Try fewer words or another category.
